In response to Mr. [redacted] complaint.  KMR Driving School is licensed to conduct Driver's Education and Remedial Driving.  In no way ever has KMR Driving School ever mislead any of our customers in any way possible.  We have been conducting business since 2013 without any complaints...

from any of our clients from the driving school. Mr. [redacted] states that KMR Driving School is not license to teach Remedial Drives Ed which is not true.  We are licensed to teach 8hrs Adult Remedial and anything under 4hrs we are not required to have to register to offer the Juvenile 4hrs refresher course because we are licensed already for our Teen Driver Education course. Yes anything 6hrs or more we are not licensed and in no way mislead please visit our webiste and you will clearly see that we only advertiste for (4hrs) juvenile defensive driving http://kmrdrivingschool.com/packagespricing/  Mr. [redacted] when he registered his son whom obtain a notice from the courts or BMV.  Mr. [redacted] was clearly explained that "YES" this is a 4 hr course in which the student will receive a certification reflecting a total of 4hrs and is within the requirements for students that are only required to take a 4hr class and this will not be a certificate from the state in which would be given if it would have been 6hr or 8hrs for adult.  Mr. [redacted] clearly did not have any problems when he dropped his son off at 8am and returned to pick him up at 12:15pm? If it was an issue then you would have thought at that time he was picking up his son he would have brought it to someone's attention and did the math and add the hours up 8am-12pm with a break that clearly is 4hrs?  Our policy clearing states that all clients/customers/students are responsible to ensure they register and sign up for the correct classes and it is not KMR responsibility to make any suggestions or confirm what actual classes an individual's requires and KMR will not issues no refunds for any classes/courses that an individual may have incorrectly registered for the wrong classes?  In the past we have had numerous people register for many of our classes and realized after the fact it wasn't the correct class, so that's why it is so important that people need to read or confirm with their employer's, agencies, courts, BMV exactly which correct classes they are to take.  KMR also has a responsibility to fulfill on our end to prepare for ALL classes and they why we ask that people preregister in advance so that we can give ample notice to any and all of our instructors to better prepare materials, equipments, classrooms, certificates, etc in advance and once a individual has set in class KMR has to still pay the instructor no matter what for their services.  So if we didn't have this policy in place then we would be out of business because people just don't take the time out to ensure they register for the correct classes.  However in this situation Mr. [redacted] was overcharged $98 in which they should have only been charged $78 due to we had a new staff in training & our staff did not catch the error until the end of the day.  Mr. [redacted] was informed that we will refund him the difference, but he will not receive a full refund because his son did sit for the entire 4hrs of class.  The upsetting part is that I am sure his son receive something from the BMV or Courts stating he needed 6hrs and they just did not take the time to read it so now they are trying to put the blame on someone else which is KMR?  So I can understand his frustrations and having to deal with a teenager who may have already encounter charges before his 18th birthday but in no way did KMR Driving School solicit his son or him they called our office and registered with FULL facts given and was well aware of the time of 4hrs 8am-12pm?  The real upsetting part is that Mr. [redacted] called our office cursing and threaten the Asst. Director (Please see her statement below) in which she has been scared since debating if she is going to file a police report or not?  He said some very nasty harsh words to her which is unacceptable and I can understand being upset but it's still a professional way going about doing so & that just was not the way as a father and customer.  Statement from KMR Staff below: [redacted] dad called on 6/17 complaining that his son took a 4hr remedial class he was suppose to take 6 hrs. He had took his certificate to BMV and they said they can not accepted it, Mr. [redacted] was explained before he took the class that it was 4hrs his son sat thru whole class on Saturday June 11th. So he demanded his money back saying kmr mislead him and he said he was going to have protesters in front of company, he was very rude and threatening me on the phone.
