Review: Buena Park, 6/27/2014Today at 12:45 PM [redacted]Dear SIR/MMEOn 05/09/2013, I hired Michael Barton of Costa Mesa, CA 92626, phone #: 714-240-1944, to resurface my garage floor and to put down a layer of waterproofing material on my walking deck. His total estimate was $3950, and asked for a $395 deposit. He would be using fiberglass material, which I didnt know too much about, but he said it was a great product. In early May 2014, I washed the deck and noticed cracks everywhere, which water had penetrated, because when I stepped on them the water gushed out. Ever since, I've called him seven more times, only to find all kinds of excuses or simply not returning my calls. The last time I called was June 19th, but he didnt pick up, just sent a text message in response that hed call me back. I have yet to hear from him. A very sloppy job was done on my garage floor but I couldnt do much about it, because the material that was used solidified quickly, and the worker said that nothing could be done, and I accepted it, with an extra $150 to fix numerous bubbles that surfaced the next day. The contractor only showed up to collect the checks on: 5/24 - $395, 6/07- $1580, 6/14 - 1975 and 7/01 - $150. I look forward to his reply and resolution, otherwise before going to court, Ill ask someone elses expertise to see what kind of material he has used.
