Peoples Gas (PGS) Division Supervisor spoke with Ms [redacted] He explained that the gas leak at her premise was on her equipment, which is her responsibilityHe explained an odarant is added to the gas so if there is a gas leak, the customer can smell the gas, which at that time, they contact PGS immediately to report the gas leakMs [redacted] stated she never smelled gas, and PGS records do not indicate a telephone call in regards to a gas leak at the premisePGS Division Supervisor explained safety is our number priorityPGS offered to remove half of the bill as a courtesy, but she declinedPGS Divison Supervisor stated he will remove the bill, but note, if she establishes another gas account with PGS and charges are incurred that are not the responsibilty of the company, she would be responsibleShe stated she understood and thanked the Supervisor for the callMs [redacted] was informed a minimum wait time of 30-days for changes to her credit report

PGS Project Manager spoke with [redacted] and she stated she was advised by her plumber that the issue with the sewer was the result of damage to the sewer line caused during the installation of a replacement gas service linePGS sub-contractor, Mears Construction, has completed repairs to the sewer line, and has agreed to reimburse [redacted] the $she requestedThe refund will be mailed to her New York address

On 08/05/16, I attempted to reach Ms***, but was unsuccessfulI scheduled for her service to be reconnected for 8/9/Service was restored on 08/08/I spoke with Ms*** on 08/09/and explained that I reveiwed the telephone conversations she had with our Customer Care department
representativesI explained no payment arrangement was granted during the telephone conversationsI offered to remove the most recent reconnection charge if she was able to pay the full balance on the accountShe stated she will make payment in full on 08/12/I explained after receipt of the payment, I will remove the reconnection chargeMs*** thanked me for the telephone call, and is satisfied with the resolution.I reviewed Ms*** account on 08/12/and the payment of the full balance is pendingI have removed the reconnection charge as agreed
