Dear Sir/Madam:
We would like to respond to the consumer’s allegations that we are “fraudulently” reporting an open account on her credit report.
After reviewing her file, I confirmed that the consumer does have an account with our agency that is eligible for credit reporting I also reviewed the credit reporting and it is being correctly submitted to the credit bureaus as “Discharged Chapter 7” I was unable to find any other information that indicates we are reporting the account fraudulently or incorrectly To do a more in-depth investigation, we would need a copy of the actual entry from her credit report as it contains account numbers, reference numbers, dates and other information necessary for a detailed investigation We did not receive any supporting documents with the complaint
To resolve this issue as quickly and as favorably as possible for the consumer, we have requested that the account be completely deleted from her report The deletion was submitted on July 24, to the Trans Unions on-line reporting portal, E-Oscar As this was the first notification we had regarding a problem with her report, we feel that deletion is a fair resolution
We apologize for the inconvenience and please don’t hesitate to contact our office if we can help you with anything further
Sincerely,

We have investigated Ms***’s complaint and make thefollowing response:First, we have no record of receiving a letter from Ms*** on 9-24-2015.We do acknowledge receiving a letter on August 24, This letter was the first communication we had ever received
from her and it stated that if we were agreeable to her terms, she was willing to pay the debt in exchange for deletion from credit reporting There was no mention in this letter that the debt was disputed, that she wanted validation of the debt, or any of the other issues raised in this complaint The letter clearly said that “if" you agree to these terms” that we should send a response. As we were not agreeable to the terms under which payment was offered, no response was made. I also reviewed our internal records and the activity reports we receive directly from the credit reporting agencies and found no record of receiving a dispute notification on this account at any time in the past. However, in the process of reviewing her file, we saw that the account was due to drop from credit reporting in a couple of months anyway so we decided to go ahead and have it deletedThe deletion was reported on 8-31-15 to ***, *** *** and ***. As no information was provided about the date the credit reports were generated, it is possible that the deletions had not been completed at the time. Please note we’ve been told to allow days for updates on credit files to be completed To help assure the deletion is completed, I will also file a manual deletion request. If there are any further issues, Ms*** will need to provide us with a copy of the credit report in question so we can open an investigation with the credit bureau to find out why the deletion was not done.Thank you,Dana O***ManagerBonded Adjusting Service

Following is our response to Ms. [redacted] complaint:First, I would like to address Ms. [redacted] comment that she contacted our office 7-1-14, 8-1-14 and 12-1-14.  We have no record of any calls to our office or voice mail messages left on those dates.  We do show one...

voice mail message left on August 13th, 2014 and a conversation on 12-30-14.Ms. [redacted] states she has disputed the account “numerous times” in the last two years and that we have continued to report it valid.  The only notification we received was from [redacted] in July and August of 2014.  Both times we responded that the entry was valid, but we also requested that a closed date be added to the entry.  We do have copies of our request to correct the entry, but would rather not upload them as they contain personal information.  Please note we have never received a dispute from either [redacted] or [redacted] stating there was a problem with how the accounts were reporting, or that the problem was still occurring after we requested the corrections with Experian.  We have never received a dispute directly from Ms. [redacted] either.  Ms. [redacted] did call our office on August 13, 2014 and leave a message on our voice mail.  Our collector returned the call, but there was no answer.  I found no other record of any messages or phone calls made to our office. The only conversation we had with Ms. [redacted] regarding this matter was on December 30, 2014.  Preston’s notes show that Ms. [redacted] called and said that our account was still showing on her credit report.  She wanted us to “fix it” so [redacted] confirmed with her that account was showing as bankruptcy and zero balance, which is correct. She never brought up the issue of the “closed date” being incorrect, but did seem concerned about the dispute indicator.   [redacted] explained that to have that removedwe needed a written request. Preston’s notes also state that she said the reason she wanted the dispute removed was that it was irrelevant now as she had filed bankruptcy. [redacted] also noted that she asked us to completely delete the entry in order to help improve her credit score and rebuilt her credit but was told we could not do that as it was a valid debt.Ms. [redacted] requested that the issued be resolved by deleting the entry and we are agreeable to her request without further investigation.   The deletion will be reported with our next monthly cycle on March 31, 2015 and we have sent Ms. [redacted] a letter confirming the deletion.Thank you and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.  [redacted]Bonded Adjusting Service

The account in question had been placed for collection in  error by the original creditor.  After being notified of this by the creditor in June, we flagged the account to delete with our next monthly reporting cycle, which is the first of each
month.   Our...

records show that we reported to all three credit bureaus on July 1, 2014.
We have never spoken to the consumer, but we did have a conversation with the consumer’s wife regarding the credit reporting.  This was yesterday, August 4th, and she stated that the entry was still showing on her husband’s credit report, which was run on 6-29-14.  We determined that the account was still on his report because it was run prior to our monthly reporting, which occurred on 7-1-14.
To resolve the issue, we mailed the consumer a letter yesterday confirming that we had deleted the entry.   While the account should have already been deleted with our monthly update in July, we filed a manual deletion with [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted] yesterday to assure the deletion was completed. The consumer was provided a copy of the manual deletion for his records.   I also provided the consumer's wife with my direct contact information in case there are any other issues with his report.

Thank you,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I have not been able to verify the deletion of the record with all three credit reporting agencies. I received a letter which appears to have been initiated by BAS, however it is a plain word document without company letterhead and a signature. This is not an acceptable document.Since other complaints on the Revdex.com webpage indicate failure to update as promised, I request a manual deletion as well as a bona fide letter from BAS indicating the completion of the request.I will accept the offered solution upon verification with the credit agencies.
Regards,
[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Contingent upon Transunion deleting this account.

Ms. [redacted],I'm sorry you felt our letter was unacceptable.    Instead of the computer generated letter, I mailed you one on regular letterhead. At your request, I submitted a manual deletion and enclosed a copy with the letter.   I also confirmed that all three agencies have already received our monthly update files in which the deletions were also reported.Thank you,[redacted]ManagerBonded Adjusting  Service
