Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. After the CEO of Basement Boost came out on Sunday October 1st and viewed the horrible job and neglect that had been done, he assured us he would clean up our destroyed basement, the previous staff was fired, and he would have the job done in 3-days. He agreed this was an easy job and should have been done weeks ago. Monday October second, the crew came out and cleaned the basement to the best of their abilities and add a plastic tarp to the basement walls to section off work area so dust wouldn't spread through house again. An excellent work crew came that week as well and kept open communication with us in regards to what was being done and what to expect. Fast forward to this week, and there has been someone here every day for minutes to an hour and thats it. All this week, minimal work has been done, no communication, the tarp is falling and all that dust is circulating through basement again and we have no idea when project will be finished. We still only have dry wall, mud and tape done that I can tell. No paint, or floors, or trim. We are in the same boat we were in several weeks ago with no progress and no communication againThose 3-days that were assured to us has now been about more weeks. My child is on her second round of antibiotics from respiratory issues ( I assume from the dust circulating since we have never been sick up to this point) I went down to check to see if they needed anything and was informed they unscrewed my storage room light and used in the room they were working on and I would need to replace storage room light. Wasn't asked if it was ok to just take one of room lights and use for project..... I am just beyond disappointed again in the lack of follow through and no communication or follow up or sticking to the timeline. I don't believe this job deserves the amount we are paying because the time we have lost, the sick kiddo, the complete destruction of our basement, etc. I thought I was feeling better about the company when the CEO came out a few weeks ago. The first week after was perfection and after that, nothing. We will need to further discuss our financial obligation at the end of this project or a complete refund. I tried to reconcile and come to a conclusion and agreement with regards to expectations and completion of this project and that has not met our standards and basement boost hasn't kept their word.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I believe this complaint speaks for itself.  Thank you Revdex.com for reaching out to follow up with me again.  The answer is "No" our basement is not complete yet.  We signed the original paperwork back in April and we are almost in November.  Everything is complete except for mild clean up, a track light that was supposed to be installed monday of this week and hasn't by Wednesday, finishing touches on paint, and access to our water shut off valve that has been dry-walled in.  We are also waiting on the paint evaluation.  The day the painter came, they only brought one color of paint (we had shared with shawn several times our 2 paint swatches but the painter said she only recieved one from boss)  and we had requested 2 different colors.  Frustrated that this was the third attempt at painting our basement, my husband just said use what you got.  Our walls are now 2 different shades of the gray, when they were supposed to be a tan color.  Gray would be fine but not two shades.  It is two shades of gray because they painted over the tan color and painted over the addition of new white drywall.  However, painter did excellent job painting. As far as the response Basement Boost submitted to my last request, I had followed up with Revdex.com at their request the night before my husband had talked to basement boost.  Furthermore, they had said everything was almost complete and just a few more days and we are now a week later and still not done.  We were informed the painter would come this past Monday to do final touch ups and Shawn would come out Monday evening.  Painter was not there monday or tuesday or wednesday....again no communication as I was home expecting painter.  She did show up Thursday to complete final touches but our basement is still two different colors on the same wall. "WE APOLOGIZE for not calling the FIRST HOMEOWNER and giving the explanation a second time!" - basement boosts apologyThis does not seem like a sincere apology and does not display professionalism. My husband and I have been more than accommodating and understanding of the situations that keep arising.  We have hears multiple reasons of why this project hasn't been completed.  In reality, the crew we had prior was fired from the job around September 29th and we had Shawn come out to the house that Sunday October 1st and he assured us we would be done in less than a week.  One month later we are not.  So we not can't blame the old crew anymore since they have been long goneI have tried to give Basement Boost the benefit of all doubts but I can't anymore.  If you were in my situation, you would be upset too.  Shawn was supposed to bemeeting us this week sometime, at first it was monday, then it was later in week.  I have not seen him yet.  He is scheduled  Basement Boost asks for the patience of both homeowners, as we correct and finish the project. It takes longer to re-do a project with mistakes than it does to start from scratch. WE fully admit the mistakes our original crew made. We are working as fast as we can to complete the project with a high quality result.

Basement Boost is very surprised by this last complaint. We are embarrassed about the work described in the first complaint. It did not meet the customers or OUR standards. It fell way short. That is why we fired the first crew. However this second complaint about poor communication and lack of work took us by complete surprise. This is because, the day before the complaint was filed, our Head of Operations had a conversation with the OTHER HOMEOWNER. It was explained during this conversation, that the reason the worker was only at the job for a short time the last few days, was due to the nature of the work being performed.- Drywall compound was being applied to a small area. Being a small area it took a short time to perform the work.once apply it has to dry for at least a day before it can be sanded. Since it is a basement which is a high moisture area, this drying time may take longer. This process may need to be repeated a few times to achieve a high quality result. at the end of the conversation, the OTHER HOMEOWNER acknowledged understanding the process and was satisfied with the progress. WE APOLOGIZE for not calling the FIRST HOMEOWNER and giving the explanation a second time!Basement Boost asks for the patience of both homeowners, as we correct and finish the project.
