Revdex.com:We continued to make several attempts to contact Basement Dry after filing a complaint with the Revdex.com After continuing to leave voice mail messages that were unanswered, I finally was able to contact a representative and have the work completed It took a filed complaint with your bureau and the threat of legal action to have the issue resolved Presently, we feel that the resolution to complaint ID *** is satisfactory; however, we will continue to monitor the basement throughout the change in seasons to ensure that it remains dry

The work was finished on August 04, 2014 at that time we were unaware that they had even filed a complaint.  On August 2nd we were scheduled to come out there but had to cancel the appointment due to weather.
All work was completed satisfactorily.  If you have any questions,...

Review: We hired Basement Dry to waterproof our basement, and the work was originally completed in late May After their completion of the job, we still were getting water in our basement. In addition, they left the work site in disarray (multiple low spots with unfilled holes and piles of gravel and rock); they also left dirt sloping towards the house instead of away from the house, which only complicated the original problem. Their work has also created problems with our yard and landscape. We signed a written guarantee with a 20yr warranty on the work; however, they have yet to rectify the problem. We made several phone calls to Basement Dry; they often do not answer the phone/return phone calls. When they have returned our call and scheduled appointments, they do not honor the appointment and fail to show up..Desired Settlement: We would like Basement Dry to honor their warranty/agreement by waterproofing our basement and cleaning up the work site so that it is no longer dangerous.

Review: company installed pump liner, pump and backup battery in September of 2011. The pump failed in May 2014. Tried to contact Basement Dry on several occasions, 5/1, 5/2, 5/9, 5/12. A message was left each time. They never responded to the message. I had to contact another contractor, who had to replace the pump. This needed to be taken care of immediately so there would be no water damage.Desired Settlement: Reimburse for the new pump and cost of installation.

Review: Basement Dry did waterproofing work in my basement in 2007. The work that was done has a lifetime warranty. One month and 2 weeks ago, I called the company to come out and assess my basement walls which have numerous cracks and holes from their roughcast/seal work in 2007. 2 men came out one month and a week ago to look at my basement. They said the cracks were really bad and they needed to come back out with more equipment to fix the walls. They said they would call the next day. I never heard back from them. I called and got in touch with a woman named Stacey. She assured me someone would get back to me with a scheduled date and time for their company to do the work needed. I never got a call back. I called at least 10 times, left numerous messages, and spoke with Stacey last Wednesday. She immediately apologized, said she would call me by 8 pm, and NEVER followed through. I have a contractor beginning work to finish my basement next week. In order to do this, Basement Dry needs to come out and fix the work they did. I had to call the Revdex.com on this same company in 2007 for their negligence, the complaint # was [redacted].Desired Settlement: I expect Basement Dry to return my call and finish the job or reimburse me to pay someone else to finish the job this week.
