Review: In the spring of 2014 the company installed drain tile and a sump pump crock in my home. In late 2015 we had just under 2 inches of rain. It was the first time it had rained enough to put the sump pump and drain tile to use. At that time there were cracks in the cement work that was done by the company and moisture was visible in and around some of the cracks. The drain pipe connection they installed for the sump pump was also leaking a lot. I tried contacted the company through their website, but didn't get a response. I still had a card from one of their sales reps, Dave, so I emailed him. I got him to come out on Feb 1, 2016. He took some pictures, surmised the cracks might be where the drain tile joints were and said he had to go back to the office to talk to the experts. Since that time, I've been getting the run around. Whenever I contact Dave, (he doesn't respond every time) he hasn't talked to the experts yet, or he lost my number, and the most recent contact was on 3/28/2016. He was going to check his calendar, call me on the evening of 3/28, and schedule a time to come back out. He never called on 3/28. Needless to say it has been very frustrating dealing with this company, or at least the sales rep.Desired Settlement: I want the drain pipe fixed and the moisture problem corrected. As it sits now, I can't re-finish the basement knowing water may still be a problem.

Response:
This is [redacted] the President of Basement Repair Specialists. I was not previously aware of this issue at all, and I will make sure it gets addressed immediately. Do you happen to have the homeowner's telephone number and email address so I can personally reach out?

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The response shown is just a request for my contact info. The business owner, [redacted], did contact me and had service performed on my basement. The tech that performed the service also said they'd be willing to come back out in the future if more cracks leaked.
