Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This response is unacceptable and has no merit I was led to believe the purchase of this vehicle was final and complete prior to leaving the dealership with the exception of faxing my previous years’ tax returns to the salesman, Joe D*** This was faxed in to the dealership within less than days showing an annual gross income of over $***K A $ [redacted] deposit, signed contract and finance agreement, travehicle, gap insurance, credit check, and a truthful application (contrary to the Presidents’ response) was conducted in order to purchase, NOT RENT, this vehicle I obtained my own tag transfer and auto insuranceNowhere in my contract does it state that I was only to drive the vehicle a certain amount of miles nor does it state that my purchase was pending the dealership conduct their part of the transaction legally and ethically I was led to believe I was a purchaser with a used vehicle that I intended to make payments on until paid off or traded in The fanatical amount of $ [redacted] per mile is a downright outrage, not to mention not included in any contract I signed I also was never told about any mileage charges during the time the vehicle was in my care Basic Auto Sales could have come to retrieve the vehicle at any time had they truly been concerned of the mileage accrued, but chose to wait until my work schedule permitted the return. The claim of the vehicle not being clean enough is petty and childish If Basic Auto Sales chooses to hire an outside vendor to wash and vacuum a vehicle for $ [redacted] , it’s their own stupidity, and again, I was not notified of any specific condition to return the vehicle in Other than debris or dirt from daily driving, the vehicle could have been cleaned at a reasonable amount under $***.Basic Auto Sales’ response to this complaint is a complete fabricated lie to cover their incompetence The sales department is not qualified to sell a can of soup, never mind a $ [redacted] vehicleThese insane charges were only brought to my knowledge after they received a complaint through the Revdex.comAt no time did I receive a half way intelligent response regarding my deposit of $ [redacted] being refunded for over days Half of my phone calls and messages left were never returned and none of my written correspondence was answered or acknowledged. So, no, I do not accept Basic Auto Sales’ response to my complaint and intend to pursue legal action to receive my deposit along with all other fees resulting from this dealership conducting business with the skills and customer service equal to mn.The general public will be glad to hear that they can go to Basic Auto Sales and leave the property with a $ [redacted] vehicle prior to making sure financing is approved And to top it off, they won’t even charge you for services needed to prepare the vehicle to be resold should you be asked to bring it back, and at your convenience of course The only downside is they will keep your deposit and waste months of your time until you take legal action This whole experience was a nightmare and completely illegal Had the vehicle been wrecked or severely damagedIt would have been totally because of their negligent practices Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. After the Sensor was replaced on July 2015, the same problem "continued" and the vehicle was taken back "several" times to be fixed, but was "never" corrected(Please check your service records to confirm) At one point the vehicle was kept over a week and still the same problemI sent several letters and emails but no response and that is why it came to thisThe problem did not occur at a later date, this was an ongoing issue that never resolvedI filed the complaint because Basic completely ignored my request to correct the issue Once Basic checks their records, they will see that after they replaced sensor that the "check engine" light continued to come on and the vehicle was taken back to get repaired, which provides proof that this is not a problem that happened at a later date
