get busy, but they were very impatient. On the advance payment to me, I believe I fulfill my obligation to that point. I spend time measuring the house & taking pictures. I ask for a deposit of $300 to start the project. Which I did do. I normally charge $200 just for an preliminary elevation plus there is my time meeting them on a Sunday. They decided to terminate me. And they expected something for nothing. And on me charging them more money. I suggested if they wanted a different type of elevation. I would have suggested that I send it to an artist. And it would have cost extra. But it would have been pay to the artist. Any other architect or designer would have done the same. They will not receive their $300 back. It was used for time & services that was provided. I have the elevation on PDF that I send them plus my time sheet & sketches I used to draw of their floor plan & elevation as proof of what I provided. Please attached to my file as my rebuttal.
