On Feb 10 my wife contacted Mr.[redacted] about repairing our stairwell spindles. He arrived at our home that morning about 830am. He looked at them and quoted me a price of 235 dollars to replace 13 spindles. He also stated that his nephew would come back and do the job.At 11 that morning his nephew showed up and by 1130 he was gone. The job he did was horrible my wife paid to get him out of our house because she did not feel safe.Not only did he not do what was promised he broke the banister causing our son to cut open his finger.(he is 4) We contacted Mr.[redacted] and he promised to fix it for 2 day he has blown us off and pushed the button when we called. So we are forced to pay some one else to fix what they did not and tore up. I would NEVER used them again. and on top of that AFTER doing some looking I am not the only person that has a problem with this company. Desired SettlementWe want our money back or We plan to file a civil suit

I paid for services that were not delivered as agreed. My wife and I met[redacted] at the house on Sun.10-19-14. I explained to[redacted] and[redacted] that the important and crucial work was the tile in the master shower and upstairs bath because we had to be in the house Wed. 10-22-14. We had been in a hotel for several weeks. I then showed him the wall behind the kitchen sink for tile. [redacted] said that he could have the work done. When he wrote the work order he added that the job would be completed on Fri. 10-24-14. I asked why he wrote Fri. and said Wed. and he responded, "I want to give myself a cushion if we get off track". He also added a draw for Wed. 10-22-14. I paid him $225.00 on Sunday, $100.00 on Monday and he asked for more money on Tuesday and refused to provide the store receipts for materials he said he had purchased for the job. When Wed. 10-22-14 came there was very little work accomplished. I had carpet installers who had seen the work that[redacted] had done and they explained what was incorrect. Apparently,[redacted] did not do the work. He expected[redacted] to do the work. As I paid him the draw that I agreed to on Sunday I explained that the work was poor (I have tile installation experience) and too slow. There was absolutely no work done on my shower this day and the foundation had dried.[redacted] was working on the kitchen tile and had not even finished the 52 sq. feet of the upstairs bath floor.When I insisted that the job be improved upon he asked, "Do you want me to continue?" I said you need to complete what you have started (I have witnesses).[redacted] called me on the next day, Thu. 10-23-14 and said he would not complete the job. I asked why and his response was, "I got a feeling I'm not going to get paid". It is obvious that he would be paid because I had already paid him over three hundred dollars. He would not even produce store receipt for what I paid him. I should have the perception that he was not going to do the job because he took the money and had little work of poor quality. He set a pattern of poor and slow work with a request for more money. He left before I could fire him.Desired SettlementI would like my hotel costs to be covered. That is 5 nights at: $61 X 5 = $305Re purchasing Kitchen wall tile:$160 tiles + $21 sealer + $28 grout = $209Re purchasing upstairs floor tile: $25 two cases of tileTOTAL: $539.00Business Response The [redacted] kept saying that they are running out of money every time I seen them they said that. They had already fired one contractor, we were coming in behind him to fix his job. I explained to the[redacted] that because I had to redo all of the previous contractors work that the job would take longer. I cannot help that he hired an inexperienced cobtractor. He wrote me a check that came back insufficient funds, so resigned the job. I have start the process of a lien against the property. I refuse to pay any of said bill. He owes me $1,500.00 that I will collect by law. As far the receipts , in the contract we were to purchase all materials for the job , no receipts will provided. We purchased materials we said that we would. The joyner owe several contractors. There are pending law suits against them.

Danny M**, owner of basic home maintenence started out as a good repairman. For some reason, he stopped keeping his word and would not come back to the house to finish simple repair and replace a dishwasher in which he was paid in advance for. He told me since he couldn't ever finish the repair he would send the money and the keys back to me via mail. I have not seen my money or my keys and Danny will not answer phone calls. Danny has turned out to be a typical scammer. Don't prep** anything with him.","neg-1

I had quite a bit of work done by these people. After they put floors down in the bathroom and kitchen, said they would be back in two days, it took them two and a half weeks to come back. There is an inch to an inch and a half of floor still not tiled in the kitchen. They painted three ceilings and did not cut them out from the wall. They put up motion lights in the back yard and the side of the house. The one on the side of the house has yet to work right. One of the workrs broke something on the light,I'm not sure. I cn not count the number of times I have called him to no avail. Thy put in a new vanity in the bathroom and instead of putting the pipes in right they[redacted]-rigged them with caulk. Now the water leaks very badly. I spent a lot of money. He has the Revdex.com emblem on his truck. Apparantly he is not a member. They were never good about coming back. She continues to add more work to us that was not on the contract. Plus, several dogs in the house and we asked her not to allow dogs on floor but she continued to allow the dogs on freshly tile floor while tiles were still wet. As far as the light and sink both was working in a proper manner. She has not contacted us within the last six weeks. The ceilings was painted and cut out as it was suppose to be. The last time that I went over there , she was painting the walls and getting paint onceiling. We feel that all work done completely and correct.
