As a Cummins Sales and Service repair facility, we provide repair services to the diesel enginesand generators including those in recreational vehiclesWe do not repair other items in RV5such as gauges and instrumentsThis was explained to the customer when he arrived at ourfacilityWith authorization from Mr [redacted] , we checked to determine if the engine wasactually maintaining proper oil pressureWe determined that the engine oil pressure wasindeed acceptableThis means that the problem must in the instrument system used to monitorthe engine oil pressure and display it on the dashboardWe advised Mr [redacted] that thevehicle was safe to drive since the engine oil pressure was within manufacturer specificationsbut that he needed to have the problem diagnosed at an VW dealer to properly monitor oilpressure going forward and prevent possible engine damage.We did offer to reduce the bill for our diagnostic services but Mr [redacted] indicated he wassatisfied and provided a credit card for paymentObviously, Mr [redacted] has since changed hismindWe have no record of any contact with a regional managerWe also note that Mr[redacted] does not state what actual repair was made to correct the problemWe are willing toaccept the reduced payment proposedMr [redacted] should contact us at ###-###-#### toarrange payment.Sincerely,Robert F*
