Basin Satellite

My service went out on August 1st and I spent hour minutes on hold with an incompetent tech support representative who finally hung up on me I called back and was told "your call is important to us" only to be disconnected after minutes of that message Finally, I got through the Exede Satellite and a very helpful representative but in a Service Call Request that was assigned to Basin Satellite, LLC I contact Basin Satellite on August 2nd and was told by the owner that they had my Service Call Request and would get back to me I had to make phone calls in order to get a hold of the installer (who is the daughter of the owner) The owner was sympathetic to my situation as I work from home and when my internet is out, I have to drive miles to go into the office I finally spoke with the installer on August 3rd who told me, "I am booked out I am taking my kids to get school supplies today I work at the bar on Saturday and it closes at 3:a.mso I might be able to get to you on Sunday but I wouldn't count on it My car isn't working well so I have to ask my mom if I can borrow her car I live miles from you It will probably be Tuesday (August 9th - days from today) at the earliest." I called Exede Customer Support to report my problem and they expedited by move to their corporate service provider to get away from Basin Satellite and will have an installer at my house on 8/ I have had to drive miles each day that my connection has been down and had to pay my cell phone provider to increase my data capacity in order to get internet service on my phone so I could send emails

I was in contact with Jorge for yard services and after days of phone tag I was given a date to him to come give an estimate My husband took time off from work to be home to meet him in the morning as he requested and he did not show He made no attempt to contact us and when I contacted him several hours later he replies back with "Is tomorrow ok" If your time is valuable to you my suggestion is think twice about this company because your time means nothing to them

Finally, I got through the Exede Satellite and a very helpful representative but in a Service Call Request that was assigned to Basin Satellite, LLC. I contact Basin Satellite on August 2nd and was told by the owner that they had my Service Call Request and would get back to me. I had to make 4 phone calls in order to get a hold of the installer (who is the daughter of the owner). The owner was sympathetic to my situation as I work from home and when my internet is out, I have to drive 90 miles to go into the office. I finally spoke with the installer on August 3rd who told me, "I am booked out. I am taking my kids to get school supplies today. I work at the bar on Saturday and it closes at 3:30 a.m. so I might be able to get to you on Sunday but I wouldn't count on it. My car isn't working well so I have to ask my mom if I can borrow her car. I live 150 miles from you. It will probably be Tuesday (August 9th - 6 days from today) at the earliest." I called Exede Customer Support to report my problem and they expedited by move to their corporate service provider to get away from Basin Satellite and will have an installer at my house on 8/5. I have had to drive 180 miles each day that my connection has been down and had to pay my cell phone provider to increase my data capacity in order to get internet service on my phone so I could send emails.

They quoted us wrong numerous times on plans and then hooked up our sattelites wrong another tech that actually works for [redacted] came and saw that they didnt screw our sattelite in they used a block of wood to hold it down. He also noticed that they gave us the wrong cable for our sattelite.. Instead of a copper cable they gave us an alluminum cable which doesn't recieve enough signal strength for what we need.( We live in the mountains) Then they didnt tell us about the packaged deal we could get to get better signal and gigabytes. The tech told us to file a complaint with [redacted] so we did but these people have supposedly gotten a complaint before us. THey are very unprofessional and when they hooked up our sattelite they didnt even know what to do to activate our internet. Then she remembered that she had to call it in to [redacted] and take steps to activate our account. I asked her about purchasing a router and she forgot it and the conversation as if it never happened. She quoted us on the internet and said it was 39.99 extra a month then a couple of days later said it was 59.99. She forgot to contact us for days in a row and then would get back to us and forget what was going on. Then we keep losing signal and she said she doesn't know why but come to find out its because she gave us the wrong cable and we had to pay 32 dollars for her gas to come out here and hook us up wrong. Then we ordered another reciever which took months to go through cause she said we didn't qualify??!! THan gives us a wrong quote on that then said she would be out on Wed the 14th of aug sometime in the morning then we get a call from a [redacted] Tech who doesnt work for them and said that they shouldn't of told us that cause they don't have a work order to come out to our house??!! I think these people need to brush up on their skills or get another job. Her name is [redacted] out of the Heber office.
