11/2/2017The Over time call for *** ***As per all overtime calls I get when Mr*** called me Saturday November 4th to see if we could do the call the first thing we discussed was the charges and how he would pay for the overtime callI stated we are $per hour with a Hour MinHe agreed
to the charges and wanted to know when we could be thereI asked him to tex me the address , he then sent me the address of SKent street Yates Cit, IL at 4:pm; I dispatched my plumber to the call at this timeMy on call plumber reminded me that he was in the spare van and that his van was in the shop for repairs and he would like a picture of the problem if possible so he could try and make sure he had the parts he neededI then let Mr *** know about the van in the shop and ask if he could send a picture of the problem for my plumberI did receive a picture at 4:33pm from Mr*** as per the attached tex.Around an Hour after Mr*** agreed to the charges, I received a tex at 5:saying he had someone else at his home doing the repair, I tex back that my guy was probly almost to his home and I wished he had told let me know soonerOur office felt as per our earlier conversation when he agreed to the terms of the charges and told s to come out that we were able to bill at least the 1/hour charge.My worker billed 1/hr at our overtime rate as he was min from Mr*** home when I got the tex that he had someone else doing the repair.When He called me back about the issue (after he received the bill) I stated I was not happy that he did not call us off sooner or that he had called more than one person to make the repair, and he was going to use who ever got there first.I do not know where he came up with I was trying to set it up for Monday, I'm sure I ask if it could wait til Monday as our rates are much better but as stated he agreed to have us out on overtimeHe had to get my emergency number if you want a emergency service technician to come out, and to leave us a message if you can wait and we will call you back o the next business day.Sincerely,Sam LambasioIL State Plumbing License # 058135211Back Flow CCCDI # XC

I am rejecting this response because: He did not tell me someone was on their way to my houseThe last I knew, their truck was in the shop so they wouldn't be able to come to my house that dayHe did say that the earliest they would be able to come out was Monday to which I told him that would not work since this was an emergency and that I was going to call around to other plumbers and if I found one I would let him knowAs soon as I knew that someone would be able to fix the problem I texted MrLambasio and let him know I wouldn't need his servicesThis all boils down to a communication failure on MrLambasio's partIf he had simply said that someone was on their way to my house I would not have continued to look for a different plumberHe made a mistake and is now trying to make me pay for it which is an abuse of the system

In regards to *** *** service cal at*** *** *** ***Altona IL 61414Original job done 3/31/17By Google maps Mr *** home is a min drive from our shop to his homeTo clean a drain without travel takes around hours and then we had to drive back the minIf all went well this job
would cost around to hours and he was billed hours.I did talk to my worker and he reluctantly agreed to refund him hours and I mailed the $back to Mr***I'm not sure how this is stealingThe ticket that he (Mr***) signed has the hours on it and it also states we cannot guarantee the work because of a bad spot in the drain line.His complaint that the service man left the clean out plug off the sewer and that it flooded his basement is not a entirely true statementThe flooded basement/ water on the floor is the reason he called us in the fist place, my service many had to walk through the water to get his drain machine to the area where the clean out cap isMr*** called my service man that same night that the work was originally done and my service man apologized and explained to Mr*** how to reinstall the cap,and if there was any problem more with the cap he (my service man) would return that night to put it on himselfMr *** never ask us to do anything more with the capBy leaving the cap off his Y type clean out for a couple of hours could not have caused more of a mess on the floor that what was already there.When he called for the original work to be done he was informed on the phone by *** my Secretary that we charge travel time.He also stated that he has had it cleaned before by another company, he told me the company's (I can give name if needed) they charge him hours minimum to go to his homeKnowing he has had it cleaned before confirms that his drain has had problems that can't be fixed just by a drain cable machine.He called us back 4/10/- days after we did the work he stated that the drain line was not draining properly againI pulled his ticket and say that my service man documented there was a spot at foot out and we could not guarantee it to stay openI explained to Mr*** that w need to dig up the spot that is ad and that we could return to locate the bad spot and that it was a $charge to do this, and after locate the spot we could give a price to make a repairMr*** got upset and stated why don't guarantee your work, I explained to him that my guy put on his ticket we could not guarantee the job and I also stated it is impossible yo guarantee a drain line to stay open when it has a bad spot like his drain has.As stated above I did offer to return to try the cable again, and I stated at the time we need to locate the bad spot and that the $charge would applyWe told him we would call him when we had a guy availableMy secretary called him 4/12/at 2:pm and 3:PM, I personally called him that day, he did not answer his phone we both left messages on his line 1-***He finally returned our calls near closing time on 4/12/and was very rude to my Secretary (***) stating he never got called and he was going to report us to Channel news, to Revdex.com and take us to court.He then called my cell phone and was rude to me also, so I informed him I had mailed him his refund of the hr of labor and he should call a different company to try and fix his problem.See attached ticket this is the ticket sent from Mr*** phone to me I have it on my Phone still.It shows the time on the job of 11:off at 1:= Mr*** signed it and pay the full amountThe wording on the ticket saysMain Line Ran 3/withWhip no cuter wouldGo hit spot at feet RanLots of water opened wentOut further pulled back nothingOn it no WarrantySincerely,Sam Lambasio IL State Plumbing License # Back Flow CCCDI#XC
