Good Afternoon,The customer did not contact customer care, so I am unfamiliar with this caseThe store was correct in stating that we typically have a year warranty on our shoes If the customer has had the shoes for years any damage would be considered wear and tear.If the
customer would like to send a copy of her receipt along with photos of the shoes, including the inside label that lists the style and size numbers I can look into this issue furtherWithout a receipt or proof of purchase unfortunately I cannot issue a refund or send a free replacement.Thanks,*** ***In Store Customer Care***

The store was correct in stating that we typically have a 1 year warranty on our shoes.  If the customer has had the shoes for 2 years any damage would be considered normal wear and tear.If the customer would like to send a copy of her receipt along with photos of the shoes, including the inside label that lists the style and size numbers I can look into this issue further. Without a receipt or proof of purchase unfortunately I cannot issue a refund or send a free replacement.Thanks,[redacted]In Store Customer Care[redacted]

My Response: I actually did contact customer care, so this is incorrect.  Perhaps Bass Corporate needs to do a better job of archiving their phone logs.   It is good to know that your shoes only last one year, even if you only wear them a few times.  I will make sure to tell everyone this on facebook and twitter.   Most companies when their product is inferior, will let you ship the shoes to them for inspection and then they will mail you a replacement or a credit.  It is unfortunate that Bass's customer service is just as inferior as its shoes.   I wonder if [redacted] keeps her receipts on everything she buys for years.   This is laughable!   Thank god for social media!
