Lets talk about not factual *** Did NOT contact me once and I have the phone records or lack of to prove itSecond...."failed to produce" is a flat out lie since they never askedThirdthey claim they applied a credit which is also since it is not on the invoice receipt or emailAgain I have proofAnd finally "numerous" messages is not valid when they failed to honor my best time and method to contactIn fact I had to leave several Messages for them asking to call me to explain the situation I work a real job of hours a weeknot a desk clerk who has nothing better to do than lie
On top of this the lack of knowledge and professionalism was unprecedented.
I have no choice but to dispute the charge and begin small claims court since they do not want to honor their contract word or customer service.

We had spoken with the consumer after they submitted this Revdex.com letter. The legs are not replaceable but we have asked them to have it repaired locally and Bassett would pay for the repair

Our couch was purchased in Dec 2014. We were not outside of the 1 year period when we first contacted Bassett about our issues. We had the couch for less than 6 months at that point.

Hello,Below is the response from the owner of the retail store.               We have been very aware of Mr. [redacted]’s complaint. We have been working to get
the problem resolved. We did get the repair parts in last week for some of his
repairs. We have [redacted]...

Furniture scheduled to make the repairs tomorrow 6/25/15.
His motor was replaced by our staff back in March. There were two different claims
for his furniture repairs. We received one claim and the repair parts were
order to fulfill the parts needed for his repairs. We never received the claim
on the second repairs and therefore repair parts were never ordered. In order
to resolve this service issue, we replaced these three items, that were on the
second claim yesterday 6/23/15, with stock we had on hand. They were
#[redacted] Chair, [redacted] Console and a [redacted] Armless Chair.
Hopefully, after [redacted] Furniture makes the repairs tomorrow, Mr. [redacted]’s
repair issue will be satisfied.   Please let me know if you need anything else.Sincerely,[redacted]

The representative from Bassett basically directed me to the representatives at the regional office in California that I have been dealing with to begin with. Their solution is to go through the 3rd party warranty...

company who have basically denied my requests to correct the situation and sent me back to Bassett. There was no offer to resolve the problem.

Bassett has offered their final offer.

The consumer was outside the 1 year warranty when she contacted Bassett in May 2015. The plant is working with the retailer to assist with the labor charges regarding the cushions. The complete refund would need to be discussed with by the consumer and retailer.

Good Afternoon, Bassett Furniture's warranty is for 1 year on any leather and fabric.  This item is 8 years out of our warranty period.  Due to the length of time outside of the warranty, Bassett will be unable to offer any resolution to this complaint. Sincerely,[redacted]
