I am making this response to the claims made by [redacted]. Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] purchased a 2006 Hummer H3 from us on 09/08/2015. After the purchase it was determined that it had issues with the engine. We both agreed to have it repaired,...

it was repaired at [redacted] Auto Repair in [redacted] City. The extended service contract that they had purchased declined the claim, I agreed to pay for repairs. The repairs were not to their satisfactory, I then contacted [redacted] and they instructed me to have the customer bring the vehicle back in. At this time, the repairs and communication were between the customer and [redacted] May 2016, the [redacted] came in wanting to know what I could for them. (At the time of the sale(09/08/2015), the vehicle had 189k miles in May of 2016 the vehicle had over 200k miles). The first visit with the [redacted] in May, he had taken the vehicle to J&E and [redacted] said that J&E told him he needed a new motor, we both agreed to speak with J&E and get more info on the vehicle and motor. We set an appointment for the following week to discuss what options were available. We even discussed the possibility of trading in the H3 for an H2 that I had in inventory. We discussed possible figures for both vehicles, we agreed to get the information about the cost of the new motor replacement. I discussed with them the value of their vehicle with and with out replacing the motor. They left with knowing and fully aware of what the options were at that point. They brought up that they would like to get out of their current loan by putting money down and towards the other vehicle and to look at those options. I was upfront and honest with them about the trade-in value of their vehicle without a functioning motor. I understand that it may not have what they were wanting to hear, but the vehicle is now 7-8 months after purchase and over 12k miles were driven on that vehicle since purchase. I have the signed paperwork stating the vehicle is being purchased "as-is no warranty" After we set an appointment to get together again for the following week, the [redacted] failed to show, they came in 3 weeks later. When he did show, he threatened to take me to court and called me a crook, he was being very obtuse and belligerent. He kept threatening to take me to court if I did not agree to his terms, at this point we had options but he only wanted to do things on his terms. I had hoped we could come to a conclusion that would have been acceptable for both parties involved. However, I do feel that having the vehicle for 7-8 months and having added 12k miles to the vehicle doesn't hold me responsible
