Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Batavia's claim that the quality of the print job is "subjective" is ludicrous. The brochures we received in house were fine but the brochures mailed to our customers had photos so dark that you can barely see the subject! This is not subjective at all. A printer should know that a print that dark is unacceptable and they should never have mailed them out to my customers! I have shown the brochures in question to several graphic designers and they were appalled that a printer would do such a shoddy job. I have never refused to pay for anything until now. I will not pay for something that not only was unacceptable but did damage to our reputation. I will be happy to see Ms. [redacted] in court because no one would ever look these brochures and find them acceptable.

The customers complaint stating the photos were to dark is a subjective opinion and without a specific indication of the shade of color that we v.ere expected to mate;,. There IS no other outcome that could nave been achieved, using the photos which they supplied. The complaint also stated we responded in a hostile manner, which is an opinon that would likely not be shared by any other Entity reviewing the emails. The correspondence was between myself and the representatives of the art center, and was professional at all tunes. There are standard ways of dealing with a complaint or issue in the printing manufacturing industry, none of which the customer wanted to listen to or pursue. They became unreasonable and unable to have a productive conversation, and were increasingly verbally threatening and combative. In addition to the complaints submitted to your organization by Ms. [redacted], there were additional costs incurred by Batavia Press as a result of the customer changing their order after they had approved it. Because of those changes, Batavia Press absorbed a considerable amount of materials cost that the customer originally agreed to, but then contended they had never agreed to. The details of this can be made available if necessary, but the outcome of that issue was that Batavia Press made an agreement to absorb materials costs, to proceed with the portion of the job they agreed to after making revisions. This agreement was made in good faith as they were a new customer and we wanted to complete the job for them, while recouping as much of the sale as possible Batavia Press went above and beyond to accommodate their requests,. did not hold them accountable for the additional costs incurred by making changes to their order after approval, and furthermore, expedited their order through production in order to meet their deadline.. ,-In conclusion, the complaint received by the Revdex.com was the subjective opinion of a person from an organization that most likely isn't able to afford to pay the bill for a product that was produced exactly per their specifications, within their deadline required. There should be no negative review of Batavia Press as a result of this unfortunate incident, and if anything, Batavia Press should submit a counter complaint to go on the record of [redacted].
