There is not an alternative flapper style flush valve available The original Champion flush valve was discontinued in when we came out with our new toilet, the Champion product line This flush valve would work with the older style tank, but it is not a flapper style
flush valve Any parts purchased aftermarket cannot be confirmed if they would allow the toilet to function properly Although I could not find any information regarding the customer in the Warranty system, I will send a one-time courtesy Champion flush valve We would need a physical address to send this item, not a PO Box

American Standard Brands is not affiliated with this company The Air condition and heat pump division has been a separate company, for quite some time, they would need to be contacted at

The toilet parts in question sent to fix the issue are correct for the model number listed All toilets will at times need some general maintenance The parts sent to the customer will resolve the issue

I am rejecting this response because: That is not the issue. It is the fact that this toilet sits full inches further from the wall than any other of the several toilets I've installed, all of important note, that are also 12" rough ins. It is the design of your toilet that makes it sit so far from the wall.

The Warranty is to the original purchaser only, the warranty is non-transferable A copy of the sales receipt in necessary to validate all warranty claims

I am sorry, our system will not allow an order to be placed without a telephone number.  We cannot process a warranty claim without one.  We would need a neighbors phone number, a work number, something that would allow a shipping company be able to contact the customer if necessary.

The faucet had a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser, this warranty is non-transferable.  As this faucet is discontinued, most parts are no longer available.  In the past simple parts requests could have been honored as courtesy replacement parts, however since the entire...

faucet would need to be replaced as parts are no longer available, a valid proof of purchase is necessary to validate the limited lifetime warranty.  Without a receipt we are unfortunately unable to provide a replacement.

The issue is that the warranty is non-transferable, and the receipt is what would validate the warranty, in addition we could not reimburse without knowing what the purchase price was.

We can do a one-time courtesy replacement for the necessary parts.  The warranty is non-transferable, and only to the original purchaser.  All further claims would require parts be purchased.  We would have no control over how previous owners treated or potentially abused the product.

This is all that I wanted, to have warranty coverage of the parts.  I would need to know the next steps are to receive these parts, and when I should expect to receive them.

I would first like to sincerely apologize for the problems the customerhas been having with their American Standard faucet, and how the customer wastreated during their phone conversations with our warranty department. The package the customer received on 6/4/15 was for the cartridge thatwas...

ordered during the 5/20 phone conversation.  The replacement faucetthe customer was expecting to arrive from the conversation on 6/1/15 was placedon order but simply has not arrived to the customer yet.  This shipped outof our Mexico Distribution center and is currently in transit to the customer. The tracking number is [redacted]via [redacted] and will become active once the faucet clears customs and continues on itsway to the customer. This should resolve the customers issue.

The item was received back and credit was issued on 12/22/15, it generally takes 3 to 5 business days to post to the customer's account.
