When the vehicle first came to our shop for coolant leaks noted to customer quarts low on oil! The worked described was done on Feb13, While installing the timing chain & gears the timing gear slipped causing valve damageAt this
point we stepped up removed cylinder heads and had the valves replaced ALSO allowing customer rental expenses for the extra time and HIS inconvenienceThe vehicle left with no issuesON or about MAY 29, Vehicle came back with coolant leakingReplaced defective water pump and the customer inquired about timing chain replacementExplained Primary Chain Set had been changed not the secondary Chain Set! At this time no labor costs for him JUST Parts since the water pump was under WARRANTYIn the process as he stated radiator was damaged SO AGAIN we had to take care of this and DID! Also, again noted the oil level was quarts lowThese repairs took a couple of days not weeks as he statedSince that time heard no problems until late December and over 9,MILES !! THIS TIME OIL IS FULL !! NEW PARTS AND FOUND METAL IN ENGINE AND OILFURTHERMORE, VEHICLE RUNS WITH LOUD KNOCKING DUE TO INTERNAL DAMAGES!! IF TIMING CHAIN ENGINE WOULD NOT RUN
