Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Your “as soon as possible” is not acceptable and means nothing It has been six months for a job that should have taken one month max You could have purchased the countertop (which we found again) yesterday Instead you went down there and told them “ I’ll take care of it”— no timeframe, nothing Your claim that the owner “owes me big time” is not true and irrelevantBoth owners said that they do not owe you or anybody else anythingWe have had no accounting of the supposedly close to $10,that you have spentWe only received two receiptsHow you can prove that this job cost twice as much, i.e, $20,000, is ridiculousAnyone looking at this very small bathroom and what has not been done after months would be shockedWe recently gave you another cash advance so that you could pay the people doing the tile workThe only reason we did this is because we felt sorry for those workers who were not getting paidThis is the second time you’ve had to get in advance to pay the workersWe also found out that you did not pay the plumberYou are not returning his calls and he has given up on getting paid for what the work he did.We have given up as well Regards, [redacted]

I have loaded the corresponding documentsI fully explained that it would be more for each of the line items that have a zero next to them

Mrs *** please provide the invoice or I can post it when I get a chance I was just there today with materials for your jobWe try and keep good track of paperwork we can review it with Revdex.com as the mediatorThe reason it's taking this much time is because you want us to provided upgraded
material and extra work and are threatening us with a bad review if we don't give you what you want

We did refund him the money he says so himself in the complaintWe will not refund 100% of the money because he cancelled a order for glass where the deposit was nonrefundable he changed his request multiple times he had my guys out there working for him installing his products that he
was furnishinglastly we did do work or he would have never given us a second draw

We will finish as promptly as possibleI'm sorry but it has been hard between the both parties we almost doubled the initial estimate

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
There was no extra workThere has been minimal work--at the most it was 4-hours a day and not every dayThat is why the bathroom is not done after months. It is an absolute lie that I threatened you to give a bad reviewThe subject never came upI don't intend to give you any review, periodIt's not worth my time and effortI am astounded at your lies! I am fed up that you have not applied the money we have paid you to finish this job
Regards,
*** ***

I understand your frustration but we can not give away the items with a zero next to themWe give all our clients the same allowance for materials which you have exceeded and with all respect Mrs *** the toilet was not included but I still gave you a allowance for it and with all respect dollars for a toilet in a " small restroom" is a bit decadent

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I did not ask for 100% of the money refunded However, we should expect a full refund for the portion of the job that the contractor was not able to deliver In this case, that would be the amount of money that we paid to build and install the bathroom counter portion It is unacceptable for the contractor to accept and keep money for work that he could not deliver
Regards,

***, I believe you mean the bathroom cabinets not the counter correct ? We will take a look to see what the difference is

I am rejecting this response because:Your “as soon as possible”  is not acceptable and means nothing.  It has been six months for a job that should have taken one month max.  You could have purchased the countertop (which we found again) yesterday.  Instead you went down there and told them “ I’ll take care of it”— no timeframe, nothing.  Your claim that the owner “owes me big time” is not true  and irrelevant. Both owners said that they do not owe you or anybody else anything. We have had no accounting of the supposedly close to $10,000 that you have spent. We only received two receipts. How  you can prove that this job cost twice as much, i.e, $20,000, is ridiculous. Anyone looking at this very small bathroom and what has not been done after 6 months would be shocked. We recently gave you another cash advance so that you could pay the people doing the tile work. The only reason we did this is because we felt sorry for those workers who were not getting paid. This is the second time you’ve had to get in advance to pay the workers. We also found out that you did not pay the plumber. You are not returning his calls and he has given up on getting paid for what the work he did.We have given up as well.

I am rejecting this response because:We said we were fine with the existing toilet, there was nothing wrong with it. You said. Oh no--I want everything to be nice and new. Are you denying that you said "everything is covered except the light fixtures--you have to buy those." If so, you are an egregious layer. We wanted/needed the comfort height toilet due to Robert being 92 years old. Your opinion as to whether it was excessive is irrelevant and none of your business. We paid for it, less the $150 you said you allowed for it. If you didn't allow for it as you are now falsely claiming, why did you say get rid of the old one? THE MAIN POINT IS THAT YOU SAID "ALL YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR ARE THE LIGHT FIXTURES".  We have paid the difference for a more expensive toilet and more expensive tiles (purportedly, as we never saw any receipt) and have given you "advances" whenever you begged for them. You are now claiming you didn't allow for lots of things. Therefore, your so-called invoice was false, and your words are false. Are you aware that on the website of the Texas Attorney General it says that contractors who undertake a job for $10,000 or more are required to deposit any money received into a client trust account and any money spent for materials, etc. are to be accounted for and documented? We have seen no receipts except for the toilet. Stop lying. If you want to have Revdex.com mediate this go for it. Regards,[redacted]
