BathMan, LLC Reviews (1)

[redacted] was given an itemized bid for a standard tub to shower conversion due to his trouble stepping over the tub in his private residence July 3,2015. He mentioned he was getting funding and submitted my contract for funding. He called me and said funding was approved, so due to his obvious pain...

I expedited this installation. When installation was completed on Aug 4, [redacted] informed me that he wasn’t paying me that [redacted] was supposed to send check in mail to me and he needed to submit pictures to the ** for approval before they would  mail him a check which none of this was disclosed  to me until after work was done. He then informed me that he submitted another contractors bid to the ** for funding for the same bathroom project and emailed me with a list of items/issues not on Bathmans contract but on the one he submitted to **  from the other contractor. Due to the odd nature of two contractors , two funding agenceis and one bathroom I called the ** to inform them that Bathman LLC did the work and not the contractor he submitted. [redacted] also informed me that I need to make an invoice for $2000 for him to submitt to the ** even thou he doesn’t owe Bathman that amount. I also informed the ** of this and they advised to submitt only what balance is due.As for the grab bars [redacted] discussed that Three grab bars where needed for his walkin shower  and I called him and his wife into the bathroom to show me at what height, angle and direction he would like them mounted for his specific needs and they where installed per his request. (which I do for all my customers) One of the three gab bars was put on the wall in his quest bathroom at his request Nothing about [redacted] requirements/guidelines was ever discussed or written on contract.[redacted] refers in his letter about green board and tape and mud for proper installation. These products are not required on a tub conversion retro fit as the shower walls do not have joints where water can come through the material and the walls are impermeable to water.  As for tape and mud, the top of the shower walls are sealed with molding and silicone. Tape and mud is not used for conversions, but rather on new construction. This installation was done to industry standards and manufactures standards. Also clearly stated on the contract the customer is to pay for his plumber and is responsible for any permits required for his private residence and per an email from [redacted] he did go and get the permit. But [redacted] still persist that I pay his plumber.[redacted]
