I left my I phone to have the screen replacedWhen it was repaired, I picked it up and when I got home, when I went to use it, the new screen shattered around the "on" circle
I went right back to the storeThey told me that I must have caused the damageI did notI hadn't even used itIt was not dropped, or even bumpedIt shattered when I applied pressure to the "wake up" circle
They would not accept responsibility
When we spoke to a manager the next day, he said he would refund the cost of service, which sounds like they were now accepting the blame
However, in order to get the refund, I would have to bring my phone back and have them put my original cracked screen back on itThis makes no sense
I do not want them to touch my phone againI want a refund
I have a dispute filed with my credit card company as well

They misdiagnosed a problem with my phone and charged me $for a battery when all I needed was a new charger I told them my phone wouldn't charge and they said I probably needed a battery swap When I picked it up after an hour it looked fine and was 80% charged I took it home and it still wouldn't chargeThey charged it while they had itOf course they knew there was nothing wrong with the charge port because they inspected itThey wouldn't refund me when I brought it back and told them it still wouldn't charge and all I needed was a new charging wireThere is a long drawn out contract with lots of fine print for their services so they're protected when they make mistakesThey ripped me off

reviewed the complaint filed by the customerAs noted in her complaint, she refused to return to the store preventing us from inspecting the phone by our store manager and certified *** ***technicianHe did offer to reinstall her old screen with a full refundShe refusedWithout seeing
the phone, offered to refund half her repair, which she also refused. After several weeks and multiple emails, finally received a picture of her phone via email on 5/13/have reviewed the photo with my top techniciansWe believe the phone was dropped or impacted on the bottom portion of the phoneThe picture clearly shows cracks consistent with such an impactYou can even see a slight dent on the bottom of the phone frame adjacent to the damageHowever, we would know more if we could physically examine the phone. We perform hundreds of screen repairs in our four storesScreens do not just "Shatter" by touching the home buttonThe Cracks are clearly clustered around the bottom half of the home button and resultedfrom Something either impacting that area or the phone being droppedEven keys within a purse, if the purse is dropped, can cause thisRegardless, we have chosen not to contest her charge back with the Credit Card CompanyI have already invested hours in correspondence with the customer, researching her claims, interviewing all employees involved, etcI am however, contesting her complaint with the Revdex.comAfter a repair, we perform a complete checklist of phone functionality to ensure the phone is operating perfectlyWe encourage the customer to examine the phone before they leave the storeThe phone was functioning properly and the screen was intact when the customer left our storeOur warranty covers screen functionality, not screen CracksWe can't warrant a customer dropping or damaging their phoneThe screens are adhered to a flat and rigid LCDAgain, the glass can't just "Shatter" when touching itHer explanation is just not plausibleWhat's worse is that we were not even given an opportunity to physically examine the screen by a qualified technicianGiven she has been refunded her repair, we consider this matter closed.Sincerely,Mark S***

I am rejecting this response because: I did not refuse to return to the store for my phone to be inspected. I did return to the store within a few hours of picking it up. It is not my responsibility that neither of the two employees working that day is considered a qualified technician. One of them is the one who repaired my phone. Therefore, the owner is stating that the person who repaired my phone is not a qualified technician. The phone was not dropped. It was safely nestled in a padded pocket of my purse.Thank you for your help with this. I understand the payment has been refunded. However, I want to assure you that I did return for the phone to be inspected and I did not drop it or cause it to have an impact.
