Review: I had roof repair completed by Battist Construction in 2011. They completed the house roof and the flat garage roof. The garage roof was leaking water and had visible water marks. They installed 1 ply Firestone Modified Bitumen granulated membrane and assured me the leaking would be remedied. Over the past few years, I noticed the inside of the roof ceiling still appeared discolored. I attributed it to the water damage prior to the work completed. Recently, I noticed the ceiling wood was starting to give way and is rotted. This problem was to be remedied when they redid the garage roof initially. I have called the company several times, leaving messages, because I always get a machine asking for me to leave a message. I have left messages about my problem and requesting someone to come out to look at the roof. I made my initial call in the later part of June. I made my final call last week, the beginning of August. I have requested someone come and look at my roof before I have a gaping hole and extensive repair being required. I have yet to hear from the company. It is disheartening to know I couldn't even receive a return call. I was under the impression I had a warranty and I could rely on this company, especially since they were recommended by someone. They were also aware of a company I had dealt with prior to them that treated me poorly. I recently had another company look at additional work on my property. When I showed them the roof, they said the wood was bad and should have been replaced before the roof was put on. What should have or could have been done isn't the point. The point is, I am going to have a section of my garage roof caving in and I can't get someone from this company to look at it.Desired Settlement: I need to receive a return call. The roof needs to be assessed and corrected. This roof matter needs to be dealt with immediately. Each day it rains I worry the roof will finally give way. This is a stress that was to be corrected in 2011. I shouldn't have issues 3 years after having the roof fixed. That tells me it wasn't done correctly initially.
