The customer states that she faxed us a copy of her claim ticket, which she has not done. We cannot just issue a payment for "missing" coats unless we are positive that they are actually missing and were never picked up. If the items were never picked up, she would still have a claim
ticket. If her claim ticket was lost, we would still have a copy. Neither us nor the customer have a copy of a claim ticket, which indicates that the items were picked up by her Furthermore, in her complaint she states that our manager told her "we have the right to sell items." This statement is 100% false. We have been in business for nearly years and have never sold customers clothing. Our manager, Steve, has been here for years and would never tell a customer anything that could even be remotely interpreted as clothing being sold.We are more than happy to make this customer happy, and give her some sort of settlement.
