This dress was dropped off to be cleaned, but due to the extensive spot damage on the dress we did not attempt to clean it.
This was explained to the customer when she returned to pick up the dress.
The dress was returned to the customer in the same condition as it was...

received.Because the store is under new ownership we felt we could give the customer a $100 credit and keep her as a customer.
There is no way we can reimburse her for damages sustained to her dress while she was wearing it.

I am rejecting this response because:
The message from Battisons to the Revdex.com was
untrue.  They cleaned my dress and attempted to redo it when it was not
done correctly the first time.  The tickets attached show that not only
did they clean it, they also attempted a redo on the original cleaning. 
The dress was not returned to me.  Battisons still has it, because when I
came to pick it up and saw that it was damaged,  I was rudely told that my
only two options were to take a $100 credit or "take [Battison's] to
court."
I faxed the above message to [redacted] (Revdex.com) along with copies of the tickets on 10-20-15.

Review: I brought in a [redacted] silk dress to be dry cleaned. The dress had a small spot on the front and three small dark spots on the back which I asked to be cleaned. Upon picking it up I noticed that the dark small spots on the back were still showing and they had larger lighter spot surrounding the original ones. I was asked to leave it for a redo. The cleaners attempted a redo. When I went to pick up the dress again, not only were the spots still there but new additional spots were there . They looked like small bleach spots. I was asked to come back and speak with Jay, the manager. He did not resolve the issue but told me he needed to speak to the clerk who took the dress originally and not to worry he had insurance for such things. One week later, the clerk told him she could not remember what spots were or were not there. Jay gave me two options I could "take him to court "or take $100.00 in store credit. I refused the store credit because I did not trust him to clean anything else.Desired Settlement: I want him to pay for a replacement dress in cash not store credit.

I am rejecting this response because:

Review: Dry cleaning not ready as promised, lost several days then not available when needed for wedding. Store stated they did not have enough counter help to look for it. Dry cleaning found after the need date. Resolution from store manager was "tough luck"Desired Settlement: Dry cleaning no longer needed return garment at no charge. Pay 1/2 cost of the new garment which required purchase.

$13.00 + free dry cleaning.
