Battle Bonding Inc. Reviews (1)

Miscommunication within Battle Bonding caused a major delay (60 days after promised)in refund being issued.[redacted] was involved in a very serious car crash on 12/08/13. He was sent to The Med and was served juvenile court papers during his stay. While he was still in the hospital I used Battle Bonding for a juvenile court bond for "**" on 12/19/13. In addition to the bond charge, collateral was processed in the amount of $1200 thru [redacted] on site with a **. I was informed that the collateral would be refunded 30 days from the case being resolved. Employee *. [redacted] stated that it would be returned to the credit card that was used. "**" appeared in court just after being released from The Med on 01/07/14 and the case was resolved. I had him immediately escorted to [redacted] Bonding by medical transport immediately afterwards to sign any paperwork. At that time he was informed that the refund would be processed on 02/17/14. On 03/05/14 I realized that the refund was never processed and called Ms. [redacted]. She first informed me that they do not process refunds back on credit cards and that a check would have been issued. I asked that she take a look to see if it was available for pick up and I was told that it was mailed to Arkansas per "**"'s request. She caught her error and said that his file was incomplete. She stated that he did not sign the necessary forms to have the refund issued. I asked what more could he have done. We as the consumers would not know what paperwork the business needed to handle this business. If something was missed it was at the fault of the company. She then said that he should come back to sign the unsigned paperwork. After explaining his physical condition (which she saw for herself during his first visit) she said that he did not have to come back since the case was in fact closed and had been verified by juvenile court, but I would need to bring the collateral receipt and sign the release of refund paperwork. I asked if I would have to wait another 30 days for the refund check and she assured me that it would be done within 1 to 2 business days. I went to sign the release and present the receipt on Saturday, 03/08/14. I was informed that the lady that handles the refunds of collateral only works Mon-Fri, but I could sign the paperwork and call on Monday for details of the refund status and I did. On Monday, 03/10/14, I spoke with the collateral refund lady and she informed me that the refund was processed and will be available on 04/16/14. I informed her of my previous conversation with Ms. [redacted] and asked if the payment was being expedited due to the mishandling of the refund previously. She suggested that I call after 4pm to speak with Ms. [redacted] and I did. Despite our previous conversations, Ms.[redacted] began to say over and over that it was not a promise and that she would simply see what she could do and to call back the next day. I called back today, 03/11/14, and spoke with the collateral lady again. She said that the date is still set for 04/16/14. She's not willing to change it because she has a set way to handle it. She then mentioned that I signed the release and it states that it will be 30 days out. This is true, but I was informed that if I did not sign the refund release form then the refund would never be processed. This matter is of extreme importance and I would like to think that routine would not get in the way of correcting a mistake that happened within one's on establishment. Desired SettlementPlease expedite the refund due to me.Business Response She did not come to the office on her pick up date and did not have original receipt (only a copy)and required by he contract when she did come to the office only had a copy. She can pick up her refund on 4/17/2014 as schedule only with her original receipt. File is incomplete defendant never signed file.We have done everything according to our signed contract and she needs to abide by the contract that she signed she was reschedule for April 17, 2014.
