I ordered from Battle Born Tactics through their [redacted] campaign. My first order was on 9/17/2013 and my second order was on 10/17/2013. The campaign in [redacted] closed on 10/28/2013. From there the orders were supposed to start shipping sometime between January and March. After many delays, too many to count, there seems to be no end in sight and no ship date for my order. Every time I have contacted Battle Born Tactics, LLC, I have been met with cold responses, name calling, mocking and today a [redacted], the CEO made a veiled threat of violence. At this point all I want is a refund as I no longer want to be associated with this company. He offered a refund on January 10 of this year, an offer which I accepted. Business Response To whom it may concern,Battle Born Tactics LLC is a start up company. We manufacture 80% Lower receivers amongst a few other products. We started our crowd funding campaign on [redacted]. Our company put the timeframe of 12-24 weeks to start production on the [redacted] site. [redacted] has sent us numerous emails in regards to his personal opinion on how our company should be ran. He is very angry about our start up company which takes time and patience. We are currently waiting on our B[redacted]E letter from the [redacted], which is out of our hands, in order to ship our 80% Lowers LEGALLY. I explained this to [redacted] and many others that have called or emailed us. He seems to be the only one NOT understanding our situation of being a legal and legitimate company. We do have a return policy on our website as well as [redacted] that says NO RETURNS/REFUNDS. We keep our customer's well informed of our status of progress with our startup company. We answer every single phone call and email that comes through. GOOD OR BAD. We have informed our customer's as well as [redacted] several times to get a chargeback on their credit card if they are not happy with the wait on the [redacted]. I have had a few do so. The reason being there is NO RETURNS/REFUNDS is we manufacture the goods. There is no extra stock on shelf since we just started this company. [redacted] has made several threats to our company and thus we banned him from our Facebook page for his negativity and crude antics. I cannot attach the file here, if you would like it let me know. We are more than fair with our customer's and always will be. I have several emails showing insanity of [redacted]s mental status. We manufacture parts to build a weapon. Thus being said, I receive one more complaint/insane email from [redacted] I will be forced to submit proof to local Law Enforcement and higher agencies to look into and have a restraining be put into effect. Once again, we refer, [redacted] to get a chargeback on his credit card. If he couldn't wait for us to receive our determination letter from the [redacted] and start production, he should have bought from a well established company. Not a start up company. We are doing the best we can and I do thank you for your time. I provided the proof they asked for on said refund offer, their response was again denial and now have refused to communicate with me. I was personally threatened with bodily harm by [redacted] during a phone conversation with him on April 21. I was called names, threatened and berated. These people have my phone number, email and home address where my wife and children sleep. They know where I live, so if anybody should be calling law enforcement it should be me. This is in no way a company I wish to do business with. Battle Born Tactics and [redacted] are not honest in my opinion. The entire [redacted] campaign was full of misleading pictures, false claims and inaccuracies. The lowers they are supposedly producing look nothing like the lowers they represented. As it turns out, they do not even have permission from the [redacted] to sell the items they were offering. They purposely left that little bit of info out of the rocket hub campaign. They took my money and have not delivered on the many promises they have been making since September 2013. I asked for a refund and now they're acting like spoiled children and making wild accusations against me when in fact, it has been [redacted] who is guilty of "insanity". I question anyone making firearm components who threaten their customers over the phone. For these reasons, the only acceptable resolution is a full refund. I wish to part ways with [redacted] and Battle Born Tactics, LLC. If these are the types of people I can expect to encounter in the firearms community, I no longer have an interest in owning their products or firearms in general.
