My husband and I are both doctors, that being said our time is very precious with a young family and demanding jobs. I called 3 tree services and the only one that would come out on a sunday and give us an estimate was Battleborn Tree. I had no idea what kind of trees I had, Mike identified all of them to us on the spot. We scheduled 2 days of work with Battleborn and they trimmed over 40 trees on our property, they cleaned up well and had very impressive equipment and crew. Thank you!!!","pos-2

Bad service, horrible response when I had an issue.I thought they did a good job! Had our White Maple trimmed so we wouldn't have to worry this winter. I should have had another tree company do it! When I called over our tree breaking and hitting our house I was told that they " can't predict branches breaking." That's like a plumber saying the can't predict a pipe leak on a rusted pipe! Then they wanted to charge me 850 just to come look at the damage. other tree companies came out for free, they told me Battle Born did not storm proof my tree and did a " shoty" job at trimming it. Actually made snow weight more of a problem because of how they trimmed. Next storm I won't have to worry about the twelve branches (smallest on 4" diameter) falling on my house and power lines connected to my house! Because I have to hire a different company to redo his company's work!The worse part is that Mike never called me back, he had[redacted] call me back. I didn't get the job done I wanted then he wants to charge me a lot to look at how bad of a job his company did! Unbelievable! I do have to say, they did grind down the stumps well when they were here.Desired SettlementRespect of admitting they did wrong with an apology for trying to re victimize us by trying to charge an additional 850 when they are the ones who did not do the work properly. I DO NOT want them to do any more work on my property! Please do not offer. I spent all last night awake worring on weather or not I would have a branch come through my roof or not. Topped by rudeness and avoidance today.Business Response Customer called in and spoke with my office girl. She stated that after the snow storm she had branches that broke off from the wight of the snow. She stated she had the trees trimmed a few months ago to prevent this. The trees were trimmed in July 2015. I instructed my office girl to make sure she was aware that if we came out as an emergency it would be $850 minimum for any work completed. My office girl called the customer back to advise her of the minimum charge for emergency work. My office girl then called me and said the customer was not happy and I called and spoke with her. I went over that evening to inspect the tree, I trimmed the tree to arborist standards. Had I taken anymore off of the tree at the original trimming I could have damaged the trees health. This was a early winter storm, coupled with the weight of the snow and the trees having a majority of their leaves on them there was no way of preventing this. I offered a discounted estimate of $500 customer declined.
