I took my car to them because my warranty company worked with themI took it because my alternator went bad after them fixing it in August of My car was towed there in February for them to look at and we was called shortly after to let us know that they found the problem with why the alternator was messed up due to an oil leakI go to pick up my car and paid after they fixed itI get home later that day to find that the oil leak they said they fixed was still thereWe called and was told to bring it backWe take it back and was told again this time the problem was fixedI paid more money and a day later still had the same problem! We called and spoke with the owner IvanWas told that if it was something they over looked they would make it rightReceive a call from Ivan that the warranty company wouldn’t pay and that we would owe dollars to have this car fixed for The 3rd time! I have already gave this place dollars the past two times after my warranty company paid the rest to still have the same problemVery crooked people!

We engaged Battefield Homes to construct our home on Lake Anna in Virginia. We were very pleased with the assistance we received from the Battlefield employees in making our custom home a reality. Our expectations of quality craftsmanship, value and excellent service and follow-up were met. We also contracted with Battlefield 2 years later to finish our basement. Allen, Bernie and Wallace were professional and great fun to work with. Our final punch list was completed in a timely manner and we have a solid beautiful home.

We interviewed several builders last year when we set out to expand our home at [redacted]. Before we found Battlefield Homes, we had not found any that met our standards. By standards, I mean professionalism, responsiveness, communication, and timeliness - in addition to good quality workmanship. We had received some cost estimates from other builders that were either astronomical or suspiciously low. We had started to wonder if any of them could be trusted.
From the very beginning, our instincts told us that we could entrust Allen H[redacted] and his team at Battlefield with this project which was near and dear to our hearts . That decision has proved to be the best decision we could have made. Battlefield Construction is professionalism at all levels.
Ours was a complex project because it was a renovation, and the original home had several construction issues that needed to be addressed. We were made aware of the potential challenges before construction began, and as the project was carried out, we were always kept up to date. We were able to adjust the project to keep costs down, while still getting the results we wanted. Allen and the team helped us to make informed decisions so we didn’t feel like we were compromising on quality or functionality.
We have now spent 2 months in our newly remodeled lake house and we are beyond thrilled with our spectacular home! It has far exceeded our expectations of what we initially hoped for. The quality is superior and we continue to be pleased by small construction details which are so thoughfully executed. The team has been prompt with following up on punch-list items, which were minimal, and continue to be available to us.
Allen H[redacted] maintained our trust in his team and their ability to deliver throughout the project. The entire team, I must mention in particular Bernie and Wallace, was a pleasure to work with. We are grateful to you for delivering to us this home that we will enjoy for years to come!!

This business convinced me that it would be in my best interest to enter into a cost plus contract to build a custom home. Once signed the estimated cost to build rapidly went through the roof and ultimately cost more that 150% of the original pricing. And, then they had the gall to refuse to work of the punch list unless I would agree to continue paying for the work that they had done wrong in the first place. I am not sure how many times they expected to get paid for the same job. They could continue to do sub-standard work and continue to ask for more money. In the end, they left me with an incomplete, although legally occupy-able, home that still has safety concerns and a number of corrections that I will need to do.

Our experience with Battlefield Homes was excellent. They planned and remodeled our master bath according to our specifications. The results are spectacular. They took our master bath from an outdated and miss-matched room to a modern and beautiful one. We love their work and will use them again if needed.

My wife and I have built several custom homes over the years in MD, VA and NC. Our experience with Battlefield Homes has been the best by far. It was definitely 5 stars. Our Battlefield Home was completed in December 2014. The company does outstanding work and quality building.They proved to be reputable, honest and forthright and they honor their warranties. Also, we had a few changes in our design - and the executive team was very accommodating. They welcomed our changes and assisted us in making the design changes. In addition to that, they offered good suggestions which helped us stay in budget.

We had an outstanding experience with Battlefield Homes with none of the "nightmares" you hear from others that have had their house built.
