Review: During the week of 8 March 2014 someone reversed into my car. I contacted [redacted] (my insurance company) have repairs done. Battlefield Park Body Shop Inc. was on the companies on list that accepted [redacted]. Because I was leaving for school, my mother [redacted] took the car in for repairs. A few months ago I noticed that the paint was striping from the bumper that Battlefield Park Body Shop Inc. repaired. I called in about a month ago to get and was told that I should take the car in for them to take a look at it. I went in and spoke to a receptionist and a gentleman came out and inspected my car and stated that he would get it fixed, however, they would not provide a renter car. I informed in that I was unable to do without my car for long because of the work I do. He stated that if I took it on a Tuesday I would get it back on a Wednesday evening. We went back and forth and I left and said that I would contact my insurance company to see if they would provide a renter care for me. The insurance company would not. I called Battlefield today 20 Apr 15 and spoke with a lady. She stated that she could not do the car in two days and it would be four days before I would get back my car. She who transferred me to an older man who stated that they would not fix my car without my yellow copy. I asked his if he had records showing that the car was fixed there and he said yes and that it is not his responsibility to prove that work was done there. The other gentleman that I spoke to said that he would conduct the work, but not battlefield is not standing up to their word. I found my receipt and went to Battlefield and was very stern with Mr. [redacted] and was told he told me that he would report me to my commanding officer. When is it okay for an agency to threaten a customer will calling the organization that they work for????? Many business use that against Soldiers especially when they do not want to perform to a certain standard. That is just uncalled for. Also, now they want to keep the car for only two days because they are now forced to give me a rental.Desired Settlement: I would like for the organization to be contacted and regarding their lack of ethics with threatening Soldiers about contacting their commanders. They need to do quality work so that customers do not have to go back to get something fixed. Additionally, they have records showing that a job was done and refuse to assist a customer when their work was sub-par.

Response:
I spoke with the business about this complaint. He indicated that the customer originally did not have their yellow copy of the receipt which is needed but once the customer provided them with the yellow copy, they repaired the vehicle and covered the rental car charges.
