Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: As stated in response to MrP***, I went into Battlegrounds to get what seemed like a simple fix of my iPhone screen replacedThe screen was replaced but a very short time after I noticed that the screen was not recognizing my finger tips therefore it was making it very difficult to use my phoneI called Battlegrounds as they advised me to come back so they could take a look at itWhen I went back to the store no one seemed to know what the problem was as the manager advised that I should update my software because that may have been the problem, as so called professionals I took their advice and the manager went ahead and tried to update my phone as I stood waiting in the storeAs the manager plugged my phone into their computer to try to update the phone kept failing to do so and would not load back up at allThis now means my iPhone is totally broken beyond repairThis being said they tried to fix this problem by ordering more parts that they requested might make the phone start up againAfter not having a phone now for days, speaking with them multiple times, and going back and forth to this business they could not resolve this problem even with trying different partsTherefore my perfectly working iPhone was now completely dead with no further useMrP [redacted] then suggested I go all the way to [redacted] to see if they can do something for me even though in was under their care when this issued had occurred [redacted] advised me that this was a hardware issue which included a replacement of the screen; they said they would need to replace the whole phone at a costI had mentioned this to MrP [redacted] and he had stated that he would try to work with me at which when all set and done he did not do anything for me and would not take blame or work with me in any wayThis being said I was out of a phone for over a month and had to go through many troubles throughout this process including buying a brand new phone out of my pocket when this was simply Battlegrounds responsibility In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

*** *** came in to have her iPhone screen replacedThe screen was in stock and replaced quickly*** *** left and a few days later (NOT immediately) called us to state that the touch of her fingers on the glass were not completely being recognizedShe was advised to update her phones
software to the newest version since the problem did not happen right away but happened a few days later(The Customers software was out of date.) She called back at a later time and stated she could NOT get the phone to update on her ownEven though we pressed for her to do the update, she asked for our help to do it and Noel Bthe store manager attempted this act at no charge in front of the customerFor many of you who know how to update your phone, You plug it into your computer with your USB wire and iTunes will recognize it and will prompt you for an update if you are in need of oneDuring the update process the phone failed the update and would never load back to the main menuWith that being said the customer was unhappy and so were we but with a few things in mind we did not manufacture the phone or the update nor did we charge her for any service and we stressed for her to update her own phoneWith that being said she wanted BattleGrounds to replace her phone which we would not replaceShe did point out that the problems only happened after the screen was replaced and we mentioned that it happened a few days later and that even if the screen was the cause of the original problem we could not test it because the phone would not load anymore since it failed the updateIn good faith we replaced the screen anyway along with a few other items that she requested but the problem of the phone not updating, wasn't resolvedWe advised her the best we could which included taking the phone to *** for a replacement since it failed during an update which could have happened to anyoneThe phone was out of w arranty and *** would not help herSo with that in mind she blamed our companyIN CLOSING: We repair dozens of phones a month both *** and *** products with limited to no issues and for those who do we take care of them the best we canTo claim that I James P*** did not take any responsibility for this case is ignorant since I attempted replacement of parts which didn't fix the update issue

We have already responded to this issueShe is just restating the same informationShe was advised to perform the update on her own as a possible solution to the issueThis was before ever having the phone back in our possession the second time.After she said she couldn't do the update herself at home we did the update as a courtesy free of chargeThe update could not be completed because the phone wouldn't accept the updateAs for the customer now saying that *** states the replacement screen was the issue instead of the original statement which was*** said it was a hardware issue with no diagnostic work done Unless the customer provides PROOF from *** stating that the screen was the problem then we have nothing more to say or time to spend on this issueThe Phone left working at the time of pickup if it wasn't working then she shouldn't have leftWe have exhausted all forms of resolution

We have already responded to this issue. She is just restating the same information. She was advised to perform the update on her own as a possible solution to the issue. This was before ever having the phone back in our possession the second time.

[redacted] said it was a hardware issue with no diagnostic work done.  Unless the customer provides PROOF from [redacted] stating that the screen was the problem then we have nothing more to say or time to spend on this issue. The Phone left working at the time of pickup if it wasn't working then she shouldn't have left. We have exhausted all forms of resolution.

I called Battlegrounds as they advised me to come back so they could take a look at it. When I went back to the store no one seemed to know what the problem was as the manager advised that I should update my software because that may have been the problem, as so called professionals I took their advice and the manager went ahead and tried to update my phone as I stood waiting in the store.
