Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because BauBax is a business of scam and here are the reasons why:
Supporters from Indiegogo campaign were "guaranteed" their shipments in December of 2015, BauBax deceived all the supporters with sense of hope that the jackets *** be delivered by Christmas in time for the holiday presentsI personally purchased jackets back in October to which BauBax requires the payment to be made in full prior to the shipment date
Chinese holidays are in February which I understand that the Chinese close their plants and logistics for weeks in observance of their new year, but surely their factories in China *** notify BauBax weeks in advance for this holiday shut downI know this because I am in the supply chain and logistics business and I work closely with Chinese factories, so BauBax's claim that the holiday shut down is unacceptable, which was only two weeks in February, here we are toward the END OF MARCH and there are still no prominent result from BauBax
BauBax claiming they *** ship the orders as soon as they are ready for the kickstarter, but in reality BauBax has been selling their jackets on sites such as Touch of Modern (https://www.touchofmodern.com/sales#ending-sale) and ebags (http://www.ebags.com/brand/baubax?lastsearchterm=baubax) and many other websites, this is a slap in their own face because BauBax is NOT prioritizing the shipments to kickstarters nor Indiegogo supporters
BauBax's communication with customers have been nothing but awful, the objective of their response is always "be patient", how long *** it take until BauBax actually make any notable progress? BauBax need to be hold accountable because they had already taken supporters' money

Because you tell me to contact Kickstarter and Kickstarter told me I have to contact youI am aware my transaction was done through kickstarter but you used kickstarter to get paid for the products so I need to make sure you return to themake so they can respond to Capital one or what kind of fraud are you doingYou trying to steal through kickstarter even though you received the jackets back?

As of today (April 1st 2016), Baubax has been unsuccessful per Kicker starter's terms due to orders remaining unfilled and third party orders being fulfilled before backer's ordersBaubax has not satisfied their obligation to the backers in providing a product that is new, and not something that already existsI can literally order my jackets from another seller and receive them quicker than waiting for my unknown shipment of kick starter backed jackets to process and deliver The jacket exists with a third party seller before I, as a backer of the jacket, receive the now "not new" product.
Per the response I received - "The team has done absolutely everything in its power to produce the jackets to its backers' satisfactions " I reject this statement due to unsuccessful communication, unsuccessful tracking of inventory, poor product design changes, vague responses to multiple backers, Baubax offering similar price points to third party companies with a quicker shipping date, and not holding themselves to a high ethical standard to provide a good quality product and service to their first supporters.
Baubax admitted to inefficiencies in their process and the use of a third party packerIt is the responsibility of the company to develop strong logistic channels to deliver over 40,purchased productsIt is also the responsibility of a company to keep backers updated, which Baubax failed by only providing vague updates on shipments without any real concrete information such as a dateThe updates for the U.S itself only provided "soon" as a shipment time frame for the East and West coast in early MarchFor my specific circumstance, I am located in the Midwest region and was unaware if I will be the last region to receive my product (if its received at all, even with a processed order email confirmation I still do not have a delivery time frame).
As a backer, I am unaware of the company's inventory statusI believe Baubax has been providing inventory to the third party sellers warehouses before providing their inventory to the backers due to the third party sellers having a quicker shipment time frameThere has been no indication that Baubax was not using their inventory purchases made with kick starter backer money to be funding the inventory delivered by third party sellers, before the kick starter backers received their products
Not only am I disappointed in the final product shown on social media (half gloves, pockets looking lumpy, poor design on inflatable travel pillow), I am requesting for all money invested as a backer to Baubax to be refunded due to: the company wrongfully delivering orders made through third party sellers before providing kick starter backers with their new product they initially fundedThe product was no longer new per kick starter's terms the minute Baubax was able to successfully fulfill third party ordersBaubax failed their obligation to the backers to provide a new product.

As we committed, we have began shipping to our International customers (Non-North American orders)Yes, we are delayed in shipping orders for Indiegogo, however, we are beginning to ship internationally and will soon begin North America orders once all our Kickstarter backers shipments have been sent.
Furthermore, the delayed responses from our support team has been addressed as we have asked our backers with questions to be patient as we are backloggedMost recently we implemented an automated response that has asked them to be patient with our response.

Although the products arrived (suspiciously in my view) shortly after I posted my complaint, they do not fit, despite the fact that I ordered the same measurements I order for all of my clothing In addition, although many retailers require that the customer pay the postage back for a return, most if not all do not require that you pay not only that but new postage for an exchange to be sent Finally, the response implies that I will be pushed to the back of the line, as they are "busy" sending products to other backers, and that they will not even send me return instructions for several weeks
The Indiegogo site shows that it is no longer the backer site for BauBax Even assuming that BauBax is on the level, their customer service is unprofessional and unsatisfactory In my view their options are a refund (which they claim is impossible) or a prompt exchange, not one after "several weeks." How long does it take to generate a return label and exchange instructions? Sincerely,*** ***

Furthermore, the material description was shared on the campaign page in August and the Backers on Kickstarter were informed that the sweatshirt will be made of a cotton and polyester blend.
We understand the your frustration, however, to date, backers on both the east and west coast have received jackets along with our international customersThis holds true as our Kickstarter customers are receiving our jackets (per our social media posts)
