Customer [redacted] contacted us on about a pair of earrings purchased 5+ months prior (on 2/*/15; order [redacted] )She said that the earrings broke as she was putting them onWe apologized for her experience and asked for a picture to see the damageShe couldn't send a photo because she claimed she threw away the earringsShe couldn't return the merchandise for a refund (since she claimed she threw it away)She paid $for these earrings, and we wanted to help, so we offered half store credit ($8.80) as a compromiseThis was an exception, since a photo was unprovided, the merchandise was un-returned, and because this was well outside of our day return policyWe never heard back from the customer regarding the store credit offerWe are still happy to offer the partial store credit if the customer would like
