? Much of their rejection is not trueThe floor was actually completed and paid for on March 30th.? I was the one who showed [redacted] that the floor moved in one spot about 1/16" and I thought it would settleIt did not make ANY noise anywhere.I was not notified of any noise issue until sometime in May that it made a noise in two spots when you stepped in those spotsI agreed to fix it.? I did not get over there immediately because they agreed that I could make it when I was in the areaThere was no known urgency (it was two spots that clicked or sqeaked, I was told both on different days)I did ask to re-schedule once when the job that was in the area cancelledAgain she acted like it wasn't a problem.Then we did have a schedule mix up/conflict, he was yelling at me on the phone for not being there when they thought I said I would be there.I agreed to come over right then, even though I was already at someone else's houseI said I would come over and see WHERE THE problem was not what their problem was.They were the ones that were hostileAccused me of calling his wife a liar because she/we got the time mixed up, etc....They accused me of ripping off old people, doing lousy work, etc.....I was told I was coming to repair a click/or squeak in two spots and when I got there they proceeded to show me their newer bathroom floor that they apparently got a much better deal on and they just wanted a refund because I took to long to fix the squeaksUntil the day they blew up at me I didn't even know they were upset or mad for waitingI didn't even know it was a big dealMany houses have squeaks that no one cares about.I always have been more than happy to take care of the noise.? I am rejecting this response because: The Floor was installed and completed on May 30th, 2016, Bauer was paid in full, but [redacted] asked about the noise when we walked on it, however Bauer said it would eventually settle and be OK, we believed him! [redacted] recalled him to come and see what she was talking about, he was to come on April 7th, however got his days mixed up and called and wanted to be here on April 6th, we had other obligations, on that date and could not meet up with him Then he said he would come on May 24th, he called and said (OUR) neighbor called and cancelled him so he cancelled us! Then he said he would meet with us on the 11th, at 9AM, (no show) [redacted] called him, he said he was on another job, and got huffy if you will, but said I'll come over and see what your problem is! When he showed he was uncontrollable, therefore, I gave him an alternative, Remove the floor, and reimburse me for his Labor, he at that time said OK give me (3) weeks! After that time we emailed him, texted him, and called his busphone several times, that is when we decided to start this action, he did call and ask for more time, we feel his attitude doesn't deserve more time, Thank You ***/***

I finished installing the floor on 3/30/it looked beautiful and they loved itBecause the concrete was not perfectly level there was one spot that moved about 1/16"We agreed right then that we would wait a while and see if it would settle itselfThey called on approximately the 24th and said
it was now making noiseI asked if I could stop over the following week to check it out and see what was making noiseI had a job near them for a whole week starting May and I would stop over either before or after that job one day that weekThey called on Wednesday May very angry saying I was supposed to be there that morning-I wasn'tLuckily the customer whose home I was working on was nice enough to understand and let me go over their right thenWhen I got to their home they began to tell me how I ruined the entire floor and demanded a full refund.After seeking advice I went to Menard's (that is where they went to pick out their flooring) and spoke with the manager in depth about the situationHe gave me the phone # of the Shaw flooring representative and I called her leaving her a detailed message about the situation and asking her to return to the home in question with me to give them, and myself her expert opinion on the floor, and her suggestions on how to resolve the problemShe still had not gotten back to me when Mrs*** called on July 5th so I went back to Menard's to talk to the manager again and explain the current situationHe made some phone calls and then gave me a form to fill out and mail to Guest services at Menards, IncI did it immediately, and have attached the copy I made for myselfThey told me that would get someone from the flooring company to the house in question faster.I actually called these people to update them today, before I got this complaint from the Revdex.com on their behalf. I have always said I would take care of any noise that the floor makes that isn't normalHowever, when I went to their home they wouldn't afford me the opportunityThe only thing they wanted was a full refund and me to remove itThen they proceeded to show me some additional new flooring they had installed in bathroom that they stated they got a better price onI'm sorry, but I do not want to refund money to someone just because they changed their mind, or found a better price a couple of months laterI strongly suggested that they shop around and get some other quotes before I ever started the job, because she called me second guessing herselfThat was before I started, but after she said they wanted me to do itI asked her to shop around because I wanted her to be sure before I started anything.Now she say's that she is fine with my plan to bring a repfrom the flooring company and fix the click or whatever the noise issue isToday, when I called them, to try to resolve this was the first they have agreed to anything but a full refundActually I spoke to them both and I'm not sure about him They still insist that I ruined the floor somehow (because of the noise), so I still want to wait for a repfrom the manufacturer to come with.As I previously stated, I have always been more than willing to fix any noises or any other issues, but that is not what they asked for.I have been in business for almost years and have never had ANY complaints, formal OR informal.I absolutely want to resolve this situation if they are willing to let me fix it, that is why I went to their home on 6/1/However, that is not what they asked for.

I'm sorry, but I do not want to refund money to someone just because they changed their mind, or found a better price a couple of months later. I strongly suggested that they shop around and get some other quotes before I ever started the job, because she called me second guessing herself. I asked her to shop around because I wanted her to be sure before I started anything.Now she say's that she is fine with my plan to bring a rep. from the flooring company and fix the click or whatever the noise issue is. Today, when I called them, to try to resolve this was the first they have agreed to anything but a full refund. Actually I spoke to them both and I'm not sure about him.  They still insist that I ruined the floor somehow (because of the noise), so I still want to wait for a rep. from the manufacturer to come with.As I previously stated, I have always been more than willing to fix any noises or any other issues, but that is not what they asked for.I have been in business for almost 8 years and have never had ANY complaints, formal OR informal.I absolutely want to resolve this situation if they are willing to let me fix it, that is why I went to their home on 6/1/16 However, that is not what they asked for.
