Review: I contacted Owner Mitch B[redacted] on April 16, 2015 for a price quote for cutting down trees, and tearing down my sheds and retaining wall. the brick retaining wall was to be $250, 2 sheds $150, large tree in yard $350, large tree in fence $450 and he offered to cut all the small trees free of charge. Mitch started the following Monday. he was told and STRESSED I only had till May 1 because the excavators were coming and everything had to be done by then. Mitch came to me ad asked for $50 to start payment so he could pay his worker for that day so I did. I never had to hire someone before so I thought this was business way. A few days later he had the sheds down and asked for the $100 that remained for those. then he started the wall which I gave him $100 to start and when finished I gave him the other $150. He asked for an extension on time so I was able to push the excavating back 2 more wks but was told that it because they have other jobs. He again asked me for money for the tree so I gave him $300 for the tree in the yard. Days went by and Every day I would call him to see when he would come out to finish the job, and all id get is excuses. Through text he told me he would have it done that day on May 12 but it wasnt. My mother and I both told him if he didn't finish the job that day he was done(fired) because my time was already up for the excavators. He walked off the sight and never came back. Only hearing from him when I texted him telling him I was seeking further action he told me in a nasty tone "go ahead that will only delay payment. That would give him more time to come up with the money". He even knew I was a single mother with cancer and still ran off with my money.Desired Settlement: Mitch only tore the sheds down and 2 small trees(that were the freebies) but didn't finish the clean up from all of that and took my copper he stripped from my sheds(which I told him after he took it and I found out to keep it) and never cut the large tree that he was paid for. I want my $300 from him that I paid for the tree he never cut down.
