I am very disturbed by this customers opinion of why this driveday cracked ( not properly rebared toexisting garage floor) this is not a practice I preform on any driveway the freezing and thawing of exterior concrete should never be connected to interior the change in temperature will cause exteriorconcrete to rise and fall at different rates and break interior concrete in this case the garage floorTheonly way to properly dowel into interior concrete is if a frost footer is present to insure no subgradefreezing and thaw and for this customer the cost would have been nearly $for his entire drive.The driveway had so much water running it through it before I poured concrete on drive that thecustomer had ruts foot to feet deep the length of drive (plus feet long) I did everything I coulddo to redirect water from drive and this customer knows that, but I believe any issue with this drivewayis and will be do to water and raise and fall of the concrete do to freeze and thaw not fromworkmanshipme winter of 2013-was one of the coldest in many years and again in 2014-2015were extremeI back up my work for workmanship and by the customers on admission he had givenreferences for the good work performed on his driveway now he is trying to destroy my reputation andmake me pay him for something out of my controlThe workmanship on this driveway was at thehighest levelI'm sorry he is not satisfied again I nor anyone else can promise that your concrete will notcrack and the crack in this large driveway is in a square foot area of a driveway that's is in the 2500square foot rangeI have no desire to contact anyone who said (do not hire workmanship poor anddoes back up his work) All of which is untrueIf this would had been a workmanship issue I would havegladly done what ever I could do to fix the problem this is not.Whom ever this customer is getting information from is misleading him to how concrete is underextremes of temperature and how it is properly installed.I have nearly years experience and those who were employed by me on this job were welltrained and quality oriented and it shows in this driveway its is still in outstanding condition andthe customer has not had one single day that this driveway was not used do to workmanship, I believe.Nothing was done on this driveway that I have not done on any other driveway never a complaintin nearly years to Revdex.com now someone wants to make money on something that I have nocontrol over.Thanks,Daren B [redacted]

Mr B [redacted] came to our house and inspected the crack and stated to my wife and I he had no idea why it cracked especially at that locationHe told my wife and I he would replace that section in the spring.Yes [redacted] did extra work which I offered to pay extra, but never told me an amountYes [redacted] is a friend I hated to get Revdex.com involed but when he will not return any of our calls and avoid us what are we suppose to do ? I have given out job referances for [redacted] for good work and we are not tring to destroy his businessI can guarantee area where cracked is not properly rebarred to existing garage floor concreteI will drop complaint if [redacted] calls us, apologizes to us for tring to ruin his business [redacted] , my wife and I could have resolved this easily with an answer to his phoneI will wait for his phone call, our number is ###-###-#### As far as the $ to repair the problem tell MrB [redacted] , I can get a certified concrete expert to give me a written quote We look forward to hearing from MrB [redacted] to resolve this issue Regards, [redacted] ***

The drive in question was installed Septnot in 2014I was first notified about an issue with the customers Drive in March a crack aprx., 4to feet long in the up right corner of drive in front of the garage, which was aprxfeetfrom edge of drive from garage down feet and back to edge
total length of crack to 5feet,square feet This customer fail to mention, as he is trying to ruin my name in this business, that hisdriveway is well over feet long nearly feet wide at garage tapering back to wideat to feet from garage the lower plus feet of drive is also on a steep slope (7%)or more and a foot sidewalk foot wide none of which has a single issue of any kindand to this day still looks brand newI DO NOT WARRENTY FOR CRACKS, concrete cracks Isaw this customers drive in small enough sections to try and get the drive to crack whereit is supposed to but there is a risk to the customer that other cracks may appear which Ihave no control over and will not repairThe workmanship was preformed properly I havebeen in concrete businds for nearly years and never had a complaint from any ofhundreds of customersThis customer was also was given a $a foot discount because I new him and to helphim get a concrete driveway to stop water from eroding his gravel drive and making itimpassable after heavy rein, this was a savings to him of $aprxI also removed amultitude of trees, moved several tons of dirt, filled in where the pool was in their backyard, graded along drive with dirt, graded turn around to redirect water coming towardsdrive away, I did not charge him for any of this ($would have been the cost) butspent my money on fuel in my equipment, my employees, and my timeNot once did Imake a complaint about a bad customer.For this person to say they want $dollars to fix a square foot area is notreasonable but borderline criminal the entire drive was just under $7000.00I preformed this job as I have hundreds of others sometimes they crack where theyshouldn't but I can not be held responsible for things I do not have control over.Winter of 2013,one of the coldest that I can remember since the blizzard 77Never heard about any concrete left around mail box until this notice.In conclusion the workmanship on this drive was performed properly as to the perfectcondition of the entirety of the drive today and I do not warranty cracks I have no ideawhat people do to there concrete after I leave.I give customer a fair price and the highest quality finished product always have alwayswill
