Ms [redacted] is the ex-wife of the deceased, [redacted] She wasnot present when arrangements were made and, to my knowledge,was not conferred with regarding these arrangements.The night of the visitation, she was not present, but her husband was.During the visitation an argument broke out between familymembers, and a friend of the family came to the night attendant andsaid, "It's going to get violent in there, you better call the police."Four police cars and four policemen came, and the argumenteventually subsided after the police officer told them that the funeralhome was no place for this to be happening, and if they continue, hewould "shut this funeral down"They finally were quiet.There have been no complaints regarding the funeral from any of thefamily members who made the arrangements.Mrs [redacted] later paid for the funeral by credit card, and shemight be getting buyers regretsI know funerals are expensive, butthe family did not express financial difficulties with us, and theycould have chosen less expensive servicesI do not know what theargument at our funeral home was about, but paying for the funeraldoes not give the payer automatic right to make or change funeralarrangementsThat right, by law, goes to the next of kin unless thedeceased or next of kin has forfeited that right in writing.The funeral director that worked the funeral is on vacation and willreturn July I will follow up on this with himThe family will not becontacted by me until I talk with the funeral directorIf thecomplaints Ms [redacted] made are not substantiated by thedaughter who was in charge of the arrangements for the funeral, Iwill not take further actionIf they are valid, a settlement will bemade that will satisfy the family up to and including a total credit tothe credit card of Ms [redacted] .I will contact you later regarding the outcome of this issue

I was present with my daughter [redacted] on day we set up services. We asked but lesser services or casket due to the fact that there was no insurance. I even filled out for a bank loan at that time. My daughter contacted the funeral home and talked but bad service. She has read the owners rebuttle and will contact their office this week. Even a friend of the family called to ask bout help in casket or services since we were having a problem paying. If the service on Thursday and Friday were of good quality I would not have filed complaint. I do not have remorse bout paying for my exes service.
