My new windows by Simonton are gorgeous and I could not be happier with the overall look. On the inside they are white and give a clean pleasant look but the outside color is black which goes well with the rustic Mediterranean home style.
The installation crew was organized and knew what they were doing. John, the crew manager along with Jr. and Anthony made a great team. John's experience, his leadership and his attention to detail were greatly appreciated. The install team stayed on task and worked together like a well-oiled machine. They cleaned up as they worked from window to window making sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this team of artisans.

I just replaced the windows in my home this past August. The Simonton Energy Star windows are awesome. Easy to use and very nice looking. I love how you can choose to open the top half or the bottom half and the screen simply slides up and down to cover the open portion. I already received my credit from OUC through their rebate program and I have noticed a positive difference in my bill from energy costs.
Baxter Windows also has excellent customer service. They helped me get everything I needed for the rebate and the glass break warranty these windows come with is priceless. I just had a crack on one of my windows, don't know how it happened. All I had to do was send an email with a picture and within about 10 days, my window is getting replaced without any charge.
I would highly recommend this business.

Lilly M is amazing at her job! She explained the entire process and waiting period for delivery of windows so there were no surprises. The installation went smooth, the crew did a great job installing and not making a mess. They taught us proper operation of the windows and it has made a huge difference in keeping the room cooler. I would definitely recommend Baxter Windows!!

I had my front door replaced by another competitor who did an excellent job. I wanted patio doors installed at a later date, and decided to go with Baxter for the installation less than a year ago, because they had immediate access to the product type I was looking for. From the day of Baxter's installation of the patio doors, the work was terrible. The alignment of the doors were off. I had to lift up on one of the doors just to close them, you could see the outside from the inside of the house when both doors were closed, and rain water entered my home, so I had to place towels in the front of the doors to prevent them from ruining my floors. Baxter was called out to address these issues, and the problem appeared to be fixed. Well, less than a year later, water is entering through the doors again, and you can see the outside from in the inside of the house again. I would never use Baxter again for anything, and in fact, just paid to have some windows installed by the company who installed my front doors.
We find this review very interesting as in such we never heard any of these complaints from this customer.
The doors installed were Inswing double doors.
We advised the customer that with double (French Doors), they will always leak if they are set up to swing-into the house.
Also, the customer installed his own lock sets later that night, in the rain, and did a worse than poor job...installing them backwards so, of course, he couldn't close the door.
The property also slopes directly into the house below grade. Even more of the reason not to do an inswinging double door.
Baxter windows does not do these types of installations.
The sale and installation was at his own risk; knowing all of these warnings.
The response from Baxter shows their lack of customer service and installation abilities. In the Baxter representatives own words, "we never heard any of these complaints from this customer." If that was the case, then how does Baxter know door knob hardware was installed by the home owner after Baxter's poor door installation service, and to come out and install in between door "shields," because their installers forgot to do it. In fact, emails with pictures of the poor work was submitted to Baxter. In addition, the door knob hardware needed to be installed by the home owner, because Baxter did not include this with their service. To add, none of what Baxter is claiming about their communication was done such as inswinging doors and a sloping yard. My home where the doors are installed is elevated, so no ground water enters. It was rain water that entered through the big gaps that Baxter left from their poor work. They wanted the money, and they failed miserably with customer service and satisfaction.
I originally received a quote from Baxter Windows, LLC in August 2017. Brenno D M was the . representative that completed the free estimate with different options. I was shopping around at the time and not sure when I would be getting the work completed, and then Hurricane Irma happened. He let me know that the quote would be good for 6 months, no rush think it over, shop around. I am very glad that I went back to Baxter Windows to purchase and install my new windows and doors. The work and professionalism of everyone From Brenno, Larry, Nathan and Dan (Installation Expert) is Grade A+. I was so excited when my roommate sent me pictures as they completed each window and door. You would have to know the story behind my journey in the purchase of this home to understand what a big deal this is to me. Thank you to everyone involved for helping me love my house. My new doors and windows look AMAZING! I will recommend them every time someone asks me. That's how confident I am in their work. P.S. My roommate told me that people kept pulling over to ask if we were selling the house because of how great it is looking now with the new windows and doors!
