I've been using Baxter's Automotive since 2013 and have had nothing but wonderful experiences with them! If the job takes less time than expected they charge you less than the quoted price. How many business do that? Also, being a car guy like I am, I buy special parts I want to install on my Mustang Cobra. If I can't install them myself I take them to Baxter's and Ed will install them for me with out any fuss. Most shops really hate when you bring in your own parts. Also, Patricia is an excellent communicator, giving you Email price quotes and updates on the progress of your vehicle. I like to get the most out of my vehicles and it is almost always cheaper to fix it than buy a new one. I have a 1994 Grand Cherokee with 290K, a 1999 Mustang Cobra with 160K and a 2000 Lexus RX300 with 360K. I trust Baxter's Automotive to keep them on the road. I highly recommend Baxter's Automotive! One of the few Honest Quality Auto Repair Shops left in America!
I went to Baxters automotive to get an oil change and they charged me $45. I asked them to check my breaks and they came back and said I needed new front and back breaks including new rowters, drums, and new break fluid and it would be around $850 for all of that. I went and got a second opinion and I was told my back breaks were fine my rowters were fine. However I did need my break fluid flushed and new front break pads. And it was less than a third of the price. I will not be going back to Baxters automotive and I do not recomend them. They are a rip off and say thinks need to be done, that don't.
Ed was referred to me by another mechanic about 6 years ago when they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my vehicle. After watching his professional approach to servicing my vehicle, I decided to have him do all my work and have been working with him exclusively since. What I appreciate about Ed and Patricia is they monitor items that may need attention down the road but NEVER recommend you do something that doesn't need to be done. Using their service, you know you can trust them 100% to do right by you and keep your car running for years to come without problems.
