I have contacted the other people that have been ripped off. I am hoping that they will file a complaint.
When I found the Craigslist add from [redacted] he listed his name as [redacted]. Also the picture on his add was Best Firewood and Mulch on the side of a big truck. This was stolen from a company Best Firewood and Mulch located in Aurora, IL I contacted them and they contacted Mr [redacted] and made him remove this add. When he delivered the wood I was not home but my wife was. That night when I got home I call Mr [redacted] and told him that there was no way there was 2 cords of wood (I do have photos of the pile of wood). And it was wet nonburnable. He said he would bring me another load.
The next day I had a friend come over to look at the wood and tell me what kind of wood it was. It was Box elder, pine, apple, willow and ash. He helped me stack it to see how much there was and there was not even close to a cord. And a lot was 2` long and to big to fit in my fire place. I called him the next day really pissed off. He assured me he will bring a really nice load of hardwood
Well Sat came no wood I called him Sun night and he told me that he did not deliver on the weekends. I said you came to my house last Sat. with a load of wood. Then he said well I have 10 days. So I said you have till Tues. Well guess what he was a no show again. So my wife did a reverse phone number check. That is when we found out his real name. Then we did a CCAP check and WOW. With his record we would have never let him on our Property.  This guy is a crook and needs to be in jail.                                     <...⇄ /> [redacted]
