Bay Carpet

Review: Dishonerable and dishonest company. The salesman showed up at my door with many beautiful, small samples of carpet. I chose the color that I liked. However what they installed was not the carpet color/pattern I had chosen. The carpet had LARGE SQUARES all over it. When I complained that he misrepresented the product and failed to show me a sample big enough to show that there were squares all over the carpet, he said that I should have realized it myself. The sample was so small it did not show the overall square pattern. The manager took the salesman's side, and complained that he was losing money. He was rude, and said I could get more carpet if I lay out more money. I told him that the samples should be larger so that you can see the whole pattern, he said that its not necessary, and that he is going to hang up on me. Terrible experience. I've bought carpet many times and have never been surprised to discover the small swatch of carpet I looked at is actually part of a large patterned carpet!!!Desired Settlement: Either replace the carpet with the color I wanted, WITHOUT the pattern or refund my money for this carpet that I did not choose.

The company has contacted me personally, and resolved the issue.
