Too many overcharges.Raise rates at will Over the course of years, continually raise rates at willI have to call and then they reduce rates for a whileThey charge a fuel recovery fee every month regardless if they come and dump the container or notAs a rental it was not dumped every month but I was charged a fuel recovery fee every month.At the end of last contract, I decided to cancel service paid for last dumpThe container sit here for at least weeks before it was picked upThen was charged for Removal and fuel recovery fee again Sent email after received bill for the removal haven't been contactedWill not recommend this Company to anyone

Going to charge me $to pick up their can when I canceled the serviceGDS was my prior service, they were bought our by RepublicWas not aware $can removal fee

I'm sorry to say that this morning I canceled service with Republic after years After informing my next door neighbor of how I saw his recycling handled by a Republic employee, we discussed the rates that we pay quarterly to your company My rate had gone up to $110/quarter with my last bill and he shared that his rate was $66/quarterI can not find in my accounting log where I paid less than $and that was in My rate has done nothing but continue to go up in the past years I've been a customer of GDS which is now Republic for 12+ yearsIt is disturbing enough to see the rate discrepancy between me and my neighbor but then there's the recycling issue Several weeks ago looking out from my front porch, I had a straight view of your Republic employee split my neighbors two blue recycling bags, scatter the recycling in the back of the truck, ball up the blue recycling bag and toss it to the back of the truck I've reported my blue bags being thrown into the back of the truck instead of being put in the side compartment several times over the years , but have been reassured that the blue bags would be separated at the holding stationI was probably naïve to believe this but this last display of splitting the bags and scattering the recycling was way too obvious on how recycling is treated in your company If Republic does not support recycling it shouldn't advertise that it doesIf you can not maintain comparable rates to neighbors there is something so wrong about thatWhen I called my local Republic office to cancel I was told that it was up to me to call for a lower rate - how would I know that was even possible?! After year with a service I would think I would be getting the best rate possible I'm a person that gives undesirable situations way too many chances but I just can't support Republic and its policies any longer

Renewed Contract without state statute required notification
account number ***Notified Republic in November in writing that we did not wish to use their servicesThe state statute under which they function requires that they give notification of contrast renewal prior to renewal .We where never notified of contract renewalThey were notified in writing in November and again by certified mail that we no longer wish to do business with themThey have refused our request to no longer use their services and refuse to take their dumpster

Employee paid entire bill without permissionOnly agreed to pay halfCompany will not refund half nor respond
On July 20, 2017, I spoke with either Nina B*** or Shijuana M*** of Republic/GDS about a present and past due billI told her that my father had died recently, and that his wife- my stepmother- had commandeered our shared motel business and was letting it languishWe could not go on the premises without the threat of violenceMy stepmother was letting refuse build up, and our business neighbor complained to usIn order to resolve the matter, my husband and I decided to pay for half of the whole bill out of our personal accountNina or Shijuana made it clear to me that we would only have to pay half in order for the trash and the dumpster to be removed from the motelMy husband, ***, called back on July 20, and spoke with Robert B*** made it clear that he would only be paying for half of the billRobert applied our funds
