Review: They put on a new roof for us July 2011. We specifically addressed a leak we had in a roof with a very low pitch. He stated they would be doing that part of the roof with different materials for 2 reasons the leak and the low pitch. Last winter we had a lot of rain and melting and refreezing and the ice dammed up under the roof singles. The leaking resulted in destroying an entire wall and all the flooring in a room over 200 square feet. I called him when this happened and he sent a guy to look at the damage. It was a guy that was not on the original job. Also his own guy stated that part of the roofing had been done wrong because of the pitch. I do not feel I should have to pay someone else to correct this when he was already paid for the job. I already had to pay someone to redo the wall and all the flooring. As well as pay for the material to redo the room. It is not the entire roof, just that one section. Then his guy stated he would tell [redacted] what he discovered and [redacted] would call me back. That was several months ago and no call back. I have not heard anything from them at all.Desired Settlement: I want them to come back and do that part of the roof correctly. I do not want to have to redo the wall and floor in the house again. This is very costly. I spent over $500 on the Allure Plank Flooring and had to throw it all out because it had water sitting under it and it was ruined.

I have read the complaint from the customer and the issue has been resolved, last year the roof leaked because it was a bad year for ice back up, I informed the customer that heating wires would have resolved this issue, the customer did not want that so instead of fixing the roof we installed a new rubber roof on Aug ,8 2013 on the part that the owner had complained about. I guess the roof is complete. First they never called me to say they were coming. They just showed up. Then the first day they took off the roof and they started to put on the new roof and I asked them several times if they were going to finish because we were expecting rain and storms. They said yes we will. That was the night we had all the bad storms come through the fox cities. At 7 pm they knocked on the door and said they were having problems and they would not be able to finish. They would have to come back the next day. I was freaked out because of the weather. Hopefully we do not have any water damage because of this. Then each day they came willy nilly here and there and finally finished the work on Friday. Each day telling me one thing and never following through on what they said. Then the supervisor had called me on Friday Aug. 9 to set up a final (walkthrough) of the job. We set up the appt. on Saturday Aug. 10 and he never showed up and never called me. I called him back on the following Tuesday and left him a voicemail. I had asked him if he forgot about our appt. I also told him his guy that did the final work on the roof had left a bunch of leftovers behind. But I never heard back from him. Besides all this the crew had thrown all their trash on the ground and did not pick up anything, plastic wrapping, screws, gatorade bottles. It was a mess all around the area they worked. They took off their shirts while they worked. We thought that was unprofessional. Other workers work in the sun and heat and they keep their shirts on. I deliver mail so I am in the sun and heat and I keep all my clothes on everyday. But for now as far as I can see the roof "looks" done, hopefully it is done correctly otherwise I will be filing another report with the Revdex.com and next time I will get a lawyer involved. I should have had him pay for all the expense I incurred in fixing all the damage this cost to the room below this roof. All in all with what I had to throw out and replace I spent over $2000. This business has very poor work ethics, extremely poor communication skills and are very sloppy. I am actually surprised this company is still in business.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Poor response to my concerns/problems found . Five return trips to correct deficiencies (some remain unresolved). Poor clean up of job site. Not showing up when promised. Leaving the job idle for days. Now two months after "completing" the job we are receiving invoices from their vendors for materials that we paid this contractor for.
