First start let me with the fact that they seem to continue to dwell on, which is, the contingent start date of June 1, The start date was CONTINGENT ON WEATHER, which I can acceptNow that that’s out of the way, I was called or texted on occasions with start datesOn 5/23/I received a text, to sum it up “Just touching base with you, we are pretty much on schedule weather permitting.” The day after the contract scheduled start date 6/2/16, I sent a text following up since they said they were on schedule and I didn’t hear any differentThe response was “The owner *** wife had their baby which delayed them almost a week along with rainWe’re starting to line everything up now for your pool and will get going in a couple weeks.” Received call on 6/12/that they would “start on my pool on Wed 6/15/16.” Received an additional call the next day 6/13/to say the contractor was going to be coming by to drop of supplies for the 6/15/start dateReceived a call the day after the 6/start date saying the weather delayed the contractor again and they will be stating my pool on Monday 6/On Monday 6/I received a call saying that ***, the manufacture, made the pool in the wrong color and it would take another weeks for them to get the correct color inAt this point my family and I was more than disappointedThe reason I’m not so forgiving about this experience is because they were supposed to start on separate occasionsPlanning have to be a major issue and “rain” is their fall back#if I received a call on Sunday and a follow up call on Monday to start on Wednesday, why am I supposed to believe “rain” caused a delay when it was degrees in my area? #if rain caused all my delays, why my pool wasn't ready to go? If my pool color was an issue this should have been discoveredI was offered the option to get the pool with the incorrect color with a 3k discount, due to what they say was a manufactures error or wait another weeks for the correct color to be manufacturedI had zero confidence in receiving and having the correct pool installed without delay after the “week” manufacturing processI was ultimately spending 40k on this pool to be installedI’m not going to patronize anyone who does not respect my time and effortI spent over 10k preparing for this installation so my family could enjoy our pool for what he promised and I quote “Your pool will be ready well before the July 4th holiday”My issue with this situation is I was told that my job was being delayed by rain, therefore, my pool should have been in if they expected to start on either of the start dates previously relayed to meThis is not a good way to do business and their planning is not so greatI was offered a refund and received it, nonetheless, I started shopping for pools in JanuaryOnce I narrowed companies and manufactures down, my decision was based on installation dates quoted to meNow I’m looking at starting this process againThis is highly disappointing and not a good way for Bay Pool Company or *** (***) to do businessOn a side note, they did not offer plans for my yard layout and was “ready to start” without meeting with me to give me any type of visualHe will not itemize the cost so it’s difficult to compare apples to apples when shopping and they own most of the fiberglass pool companies in Southern Louisiana and MississippiMy contract was under Bay Pool Company

Bay Pool Company installed my pool very quickly and properly, even with some rain delays. We are extremely pleased with our pool, and the owner was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process.
BEWARE! Bay pools is probably the WORST customer service experience I've ever encountered. They came to my house(that was a chore in itself, getting them to show for their appointment), gave me "lip service", gave me a decent price and then absolutely REFUSED to return any phone calls, voicemails, emails and text messages after they agreed to do our pool for a certain price. I'm a small business owner/veteran and am baffled that they are still in business...
