Review: I went into Bay Ridge Furniture on Friday 9/** to buy a mattress set, I worked with Peter who helped me choose a mattress set and told me I could get the brand new mattress delivered that night at 8:30pm.

I paid in full and waited, at 8pm the delivery person called me to tell me he could not

deliver my set because his daughter was sick and in the emergency room. I was completely understanding and we rescheduled for Sunday morning 10am. On Sunday at 9am I text him to confirm he was still coming. The delivery person responded that he had to talk to Peter, which I thought was odd. I then text Peter and he told me the driver lied and I will not be getting my mattress until after 1pm or the following day. This did not work for me because I work and had to be at work at 12pm.

At this point I tell him to cancel the purchase, because I was promised the mattress on Friday and now on Sunday he's telling me I still can't get it. He apologized and told me he will lose his job and to please have patience. I don't want anyone to lose their job so I waited, when the delivery person finally arrives it's with a dirty box frame, I was willing to accept it but then he refused to put it in my bed frame I called Peter who told me he would come over and do the set up and bring a new box frame.

Once Peter arrives I notice the mattress that was brought was not the one I purchased. Peter than told me he didn't have that mattress but I could come to the showroom and pick out one I liked, I went back to the store and found that there were very few options none of which were ones I wanted. I again asked Peter for a refund, he told me he couldn't get in contact with the owner but I could take the floor model. I told him I was not happy with this and he said I can give you a pillow, I told him I had to go to work and that I wanted something off on the price I paid since I wasn't getting a new mattress. He told me I'd need to contact the owner but he couldn't give me the contact information. He did give me the floor model mattress but I'm not happy with a floor model and at this time would just like a full refund or something off, since I paid for a new mattress and did not receive one. I hate to say this but it seems like he attempted to do a bait and switch because when I went to his warehouse area he only had lower grade mattresses none of which were ones that were on the showroom floor.Desired Settlement: I would like to either get the brand new mattress that I paid for, or to get a partial refund since I was given a used floor sample.
