The customer has a 13 year old Volvo. Initially the computer codes indicated the car needed a newly available software download to correct the "check engine light". It went out. He returned 7-8 days later and further inspection revealed that the air mass flow sensor was "after market". We replace...

same with OEM part. The light went out and the customer didn't return for 5 1/2 months needing a new fuel pump. This is unrelated to the original problem. He was charged a diagnostic fee that would have been applied to the repair. We would like to offer to apply that amount if he wants the repair. There is no strategy of trial and error. This is a vehicle with over 100,000 miles and simply needs a different repair.

It seems that the car was driven in with the damage. Security video shows the customer backed the car into our lot where it was left for wheel repair. The repairs were made in that spot and the car was not moved or contacted by any other object. Since the damage noted is on the passenger side, it is...

possible that the customer, approaching and leaving from the drivers side, may not have noticed when it happened and brought it to us that way. The video shows no contact to the vehicle.

The issue with length of repairs was due to the fact we were unable to duplicate the concern of the alarm going off. It was diagnosed after a rainfall that set the alarm off and we saw that water was getting into the vehicle and shorting out the fusebox. The initial charge of 490.68 was paid by [redacted]...

[redacted] the second repair for 1,601.07 was waived and [redacted] was not charged. She also was given a loaner vehicle for a long period of time. There is no reimbursement for alternate transportation for the time the vehicle is being repaired.

I went there to Buy The New 2016 Accord, upon arrival I checked the car out and proceeded to buy it. I agreed on the finance plan they went and got my car, I did walk around I noticed the car had scratches I told the sells person and asked me to bring the car in the morning because they were closing. I took the car back the next morning they fixed the issue but also the next day I discovered one of the rims was scratched I brought it up into the managers attention he said he would do something about it but didn't (he lied). long story short the manager was rude to us and insulted me and told to take my piece of [redacted] car out of his lot after he had just sold it to me. IT'S UP TO YOU TO JUDGE

Review: I had a very unpleasant experience with this business. I'll try to be short.

I received a recall notice from Honda early this summer so I called to arrange a airbag replacement covered by the recall. They promised to call me back once they receive the part on backorder. They never called me and it took us 3 months back and forth to arrange it.

I came for service finally and overall everything went fine with airbags but when I came to pick up the car I noticed that now another light on dashboard went on. They said they need to replace a seatbelt buckle and it's covered by warranty and I can come back once they receive the part. I left the facility and on my way home noticed that cruise control stopped working. I called them immediately and they said that they will take a look when I come back for seatbelt buckle replacement.

I came back on 7/**/2015 and notified them again that while they were replacing airbag (which is in steering wheel, right where the cruise control settings are) and resetting computer they did something that caused my cruise control malfunction. They promised to take a look at it. I was promised the car will be ready by 9pm but they never called me. And I had to keep calling them to check on it, finally it was ready at 11 and location was about to close. I picked up the car and took it on highway to check the cruise control, which still wasn't functioning after all and I couldn't come back because the location was already closed. I called next day but the manager I worked with (Wilson V[redacted]) didn't pick up the phone so I left a detailed voicemail. Within the next couple weeks I left at least 4 voicemails to Wilson, none of which were returned.

Finally after many unreturned calls, I gave up on reaching out to Wilson and called operator who said I need to come back to get my cruise control checked. So I did. I asked them to take fix something that they clearly broke and also perform a state inspection. I was told I should expect a call once the car is ready. I never received a call and had to contact the facility myself and manager on duty was surprised (again) that Wilson didn't call me. I was told the car is ready to pick up so I traveled to the facility to find out that not only they didn't fix it, but refuse to admit it was their fault and now I need to pay $114.71+tax diagnostics fee and if I want it fixed it'll cost me $458.84+tax to fix it (replace a wire) and it would take 2-3 days and they wouldn't release the car if I don't pay. I spoke with their manager but wasn't able to find any consensus with him. He clearly wasn't willing to help or understand the situation. I received the worst service with the facility, the tone they were talking to me was quite disrespectful, and I was unable to reach out to them most of the times. I took the car to different mechanic who charged me only $30 for diagnostics and the part he found damaged cost me only around $50.Desired Settlement: refund of $151.71 for so called diagnostics

Review: I had purchased new 2015 Honda Civic from Bay Ridge Honda, [redacted] November 2014. During the purchase, I had signed up for Key remote replacement, Windshield repair and Honda Extended Warranty contracts. As I completed my purchase, I figured out that these contracts were eye washers and hence decided to cancel my contracts. I had contacted the dealer several times (phone and in person) for cancellation of contracts but the finance manager kept telling me that I cannot cancel these contracts. As I read through the terms and conditions of contract, I saw that the contracts could be cancelled within 60 days of purchase with 100% refund if no claim had been made. I gave a written request for cancellation all the three contracts in Jan 2015 well with in 60 days of purchase . Request for cancellation of Honda Extended Warranty contract was submitted in person to Bay ridge as a written request on 10th January 2015. The finance manager at that time said that windshield repair and key remote replacement cannot be cancelled at any time. Written request for cancellation of Windshield repair and Key remote replacement was sent on January ** 2015 through courier and same was delivered to Bay ridge on [redacted] January 2015 (have the proof of submission as well as delivery proof). All the request for Cancellation of contract was made within 60 days of signing up without any claims made. I also directly contacted the parent companies (Honda for Extended warranty, NSD for key remote replacement and IAS for Windshield repair to see if Bay ridge had processed my cancellation of contracts, all parent companies confirmed that I am eligible for 100% refund and Bay ridge has to process my request from their end. Till date, Bay ridge has not processed my cancellation of Windshield and Key remote replacement contracts. I had to fight very hard with Bay ridge to have my Honda extended warranty cancelled in August 2015 which was almost 8 months after submission. That too, my refund was processed incorrectly and had to directly request Honda company to prove that I am eligible for 100% refund of my contract.

With 10 months passed by after requesting for cancellation, Bay Ridge Honda has till date failed to refund the amount I paid for Windshield repair and Key remote replacement contracts.Desired Settlement: Bay Ridge Honda has to refund my 100% contract amount along with Sales Tax and Interest immedietly

Review: I was recently forced to vacate my apartment and find another apartment because the building has been sold. My current apartment is far from my work which increased all my expenses to the point where I an struggling paying my rent.

I already spoke to Honda Financial and they directed me to the the dealership where the car was leased. At the dealership I was told that terminating the lease just was not possible. Since then I've already been to court three times because of rent payment issues and I am on the verge of being evicted.

This was an unplanned and unforeseen change of events that I had to vacate my first apartment --and this really forced me to now give up the car.

Is it possible to help me please. This is a 3 year lease and I still have 2 years left.

Thank you very much in advance,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Stop the lease.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Bay Ridge Volvo-American Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Sincerely,

I brought my car to have a simple oil change and to replace the air filter service. As I am driving off the entire car shuts down. The dashboard goes on like a Christmas tree, and Iost control of the car. This all happens at a the corner of [redacted], then again at [redacted]. Just over and over until my 10 year old daughter and I made it back around the block. My daughter was devastated and didn't want to get back in the car. we almost got hit by on coming traffic multiple times. The service consultant(Edwin C[redacted]) popped the hood of my car and found that the intake hose was disconnected. he quickly popped it in and said it was ok. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager(Andrew F[redacted]) came out and listen to my complaint took a look a the engine ,then took it for a text ride. When he returned I ask if I could put in a formal complaint. He said that I could not. then he stated that I could call his boss in the morning and gave me his card and bosses number. I couldn't believe he told me that me( THE PAYING CUSTOMER) could not make a written formal complaint. He refused to sign anything stating what had happened. I was angry, hurt and totally disgusted at this concern for my daughters safety and mine. I told him no problem I'll deal with this and drove off. My daughter cried for 30 minutes because she was so frightened. Thank God I did make it home safe. The manager did call later that night and ask if I made it home safe and that the mechanic written up. There were 2 screws that were missing from my intake hose that where not put back in place. Horrible experience!!!!! Last time going there for anything involving my vehicle!!
