I actually e-mailed them on November 30, shortly after purchasing their product at 4:45pm. They did not reply regarding the general ledger until December 1, @ 12:47pm. So it took them hours and minutes to finally respond to my question with the answer that their program was unable to import the general ledger. Their claim on the fully functioning trial is not true. There were more limitations that just a random transaction date. Their no-refund disclaimer is not listed on the trial version. In fact, it doesn't appear until you receive your purchase e-mail from them and it is located under the Installation instructions about half way down the page. There are other things in bold as well so it's not like it jumps out at you. While the General Journal was one of the items I attempted to import it was not the only item. The mapping is not at all user friendly and they weren't even sure it would function properly with the Xero program data I was trying to import. Providing user friendly blog articles to a person that doesn't understand IT jargon is like asking that person to read Japanese. If they wanted to keep my business they should have had a support person contact me on the phone and try and walk me through the process. I ended up contacting my own external IT person who helps me out from time to time with issues of this nature. He was familiar with QuickBooks and data transfer programs as well as very verse on the IT language. He accessed my computer remotely and spent two hours attempting to import data; any data, not just the General Ledger. He wasn't able to get the program to do anything; forget trying to import the General Ledger, we couldn't get anything to transfer correctly. It all came over as unusable information. He stated he had never seen such a poorly written program. They talk a big talk and provide link after link to try and prove their product is worthy but in the end it is just a bunch of random sales jargon. There are several complaints about this program on the internet. I am not the only one who has had issues with this program. It's too bad too as if it worked as they advertise, it would be a huge asset to a company.

We do offer a free fully functioning trial that allows users to import as much as their own data into any QuickBooks company fileThe only limitation as that we use a random transaction date on the imported data read more here:
***Also as long as the user has not activated the license the purchase can be refunded at any timeIn bold in the email sent to any purchaser is the following text: NOTICE: ONCE YOU ACTIVATE THE PRODUCT THERE ARE NO REFUNDSPLEASE EVALUATE THE PRODUCT BEFORE ACTIVATION.The person submitting the complaint activated the product on November 30, on the following computer: ***-LAPTOPThe user was trying to import a general journal which is not a supported transaction type in the QuickBooks softwareNor do we list anywhere on our product page that a General Journal can be imported review the bulleted transaction types supported here: ***She emailed us on December 1st and we responded to her inquiry within two hours and informed her that in order to import this data that she would need to reformat her data as a journal entry in Excel pre-import which involves re-sorting of the data in the actual import fileWe provided a user friendly blog article on how this can be done: ***
