Seen- Noble Hospital on 7/30/17. Ambulance and outpatient services were billed correctly but encountered problems with ER exam billing. In collections
Motorcycle accident-7/30/17. Noble Hospital MR #BAKXXXXX. Ambulance ride payment (Claim:OACXXXXXXX - $938.80 covered), Baystate/Noble Hospital Outpatient Service(Claim YBXXXXXXXX-$763.92 covered).I had problems with coverage for the ER exam ($834) by Wstfld Emergency Physicians. Called when I first received bill, always got conflicting info regarding actual bill sent to my insurance company. Filled out all correspondence for more info from my BC/BS (File: XXXXXXX). One of my records indicate that on 2/8/18 at 9:13am, spoke to WEP customer service- Kelsy, that acknowledged that they had never sent BC/BS their bill. She would rebill. Over the years, I have filled out any/all the requests from ProMedical.
Since the driver who hit the motorcycle was NOT insured and the motorcycle driver's insurance (Progressive-did not have PIP to cover riders), Two years later, I had to go to my AUTO insurance to settle. I have recently been getting called from NorthStar Location Services. I immediately reimbursed my insurance company. I would gladly send what I owe to whomever, but my credit history has been tarnished because of this billing error.
I had great credit prior to this incident - Single mom, brought up 2 kids, with GREAT credit. Does Westfield Emergency Physicians error in billing take any responsibility in voiding this episode from my credit history? What is the proper protocol that I need to follow to ensure that my good credit is resumed. I would really appreciate your help. Thank you.
