Review: I recently made a reservation with the mentioned hotel for the weekend of 8/12-8/16/2016. Due to a personal reason I called to cancel the reservation more than 24 hours prior to the arrival day. At that time I was told by the clerk Mary, I didn't call within a 48 hour time frame and I was going to be charged for one night. I explained to her that the person that confirmed by reservation state to me that I had a 24 hour time frame to cancel. At that moment I requested to speak to the owner/person in charge Mary placed me on hold for several minutes and then return to the phone and stated I had to call back in 2-3 hours. Mary refused to provided a name of who I was to contact specifically and continued to very rude. Once the call ended seconds later an alert from my cell phone was made indicating my credit card had been charged. I immediately called the hotel speaking to Mary asking her why did she charge my credit card without my the permission or with allowing me to speak to the owner? Mary repeatedly denied charging my card and told me I needed to call back later. As a customer I feel the clerk handled this matter unprofessionally and lied to me while on the phone. Right after I contacted my banking institution making them aware of the situation. I would like the Revdex.com to contact the hotel regarding this complaint and resolve and credit concerns if reported. Also as a customer I am requesting a full refund of $135.59 which has been charged to my credit because a request to cancel was completed with the 24 hour window explained via phone. Lastly, I would like the Baymont Inn Hotel to understand that they do not have my permission to charge credit card in the future. And understand that the customer service for the business was horrible and I am no longer interested to best a guest at their location.Desired Settlement: *Revdex.com to contact the hotel regarding this complaint and resolve and credit concerns if reported.

Review: I booked a room at this establishment for June 29, 2016 based on the brochure we had. The room was filthy. It had broken doors, front door would not lock, and the bed was on 2x4's on the floor. I tried to talk to the woman at the front desk and the lady was very rude. I left and paid for another hotel. I also tried speaking to the manager of the hotel who was also extremely rude and hung up on me. They refuse to refund me my money. I told the manager that the rooms were nothing like the brochure and he told me I was being rude and hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I am only asking for a refund of the $67.79 that I paid for the hotel room.

Review: I recently reserved a room at this "hotel" for a 1 night stay through Priceline Name Your Own Price Tool. I was not expecting anything fancy or many amenities, but I was expecting it to be CLEAN. It was filthy. It was not cleaned prior to my arrival and the smell of mold and cigarette smoke(non smoking room) was incredibly overpowering. The walls were filthy, the shower was not clean, and there were pubic hairs all over the bathroom floor. I noticed the ice machine that is offered for use for all guest, it looked like it had never been cleaned and was certainly unfit to be used. When I requested a refund due to the filth, I was rudely denied and NOT offered another room. However, when I complained to Priceline, they said that they spoke with the owner, Mukesh, and that he claims that I denied the new room that was offered. After leaving that disgusting hotel, I began researching others' past experiences there. I discovered that this man is well known for his filthy hotel and refuses to refund. So, he is sitting in his disgustingly dirty office, booking reservations for $100/night, knowing that people will walk into his uncleaned rooms only to leave minutes later, thus collecting our money at minimal effort.Desired Settlement: I need to receive a refund for the services that I paid for and did not receive.

Review: On Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, my wife and I checked into the Bayfront Inn only to find that the room was not as advertised, filthy, dirty bathtub and sink, stunk, had dead roaches, and a broken TV. As it was not as advertised, and was clearly not clean and up to minimal standards, we decided to check out, 10 minutes after arriving. We went to the front desk to explain our situation and concerns and to cancel our stay. We were told by the front desk staff, an Indian female, that we could not cancel and she would have to keep our room fare. We asked for a refund and she promptly refused. I then explained that the room was in fact, dirty, smelled of a foul odor and some of the amenities were not as advertised on their web site. She became argumentative, would not give me her name and refused again to give us a refund. I then explained to her that I was indeed going to file a complaint with the Health Department and the Revdex.com of Pa. She became quite angry and stated " If you are going to make a complaint then I will not refund any of your money". She said this several times in a threatening attempt to make me refrain me from making any complaint. She agreed to refund half of our room fee if I did not make a complaint. We then made reservations at another motel and left the Bayfront Inn property.Desired Settlement: I request that due to deceptive and unsanitary practices at the Bayfront Inn, that they refund the remainder of our room fee, $55.00 and compensate us for the entire fee of our stay at the Comfort Inn, Presque Isle, $176.00; all due to the inconvenience of relocation and fraud committed by the employees and owners at the Bayfront Inn. I also request that a full inspection of the Bayfront Inn be conducted for Building Compliance; safety, plumbing and electrical inspections are needed there.

09/10/2013 The rooms are as advertised on web site www.bavfrontinnerie.com The rooms are clean and were cleanest in area. The TV is in proper working order and was working properly. There were no dead or live roaches nor any bed bugs in any room at property.________________________ There were no foul odor of any kind. When the guest came to office to cancel, she had asked why? The guest replied : amenities are not as advertised on website. The employee asked the guest what amenities and she had no answer for it. The employee even offer another rooms and they refused the offer and racially insulted her. The guest never ask front desk personnel’s name nor the employee refused to give her name. What amenities are not as advertised? If this hotel did not meet your standards of expectation why did you made reservation? You could have ask any questions you had and do you due diligence before you book room . I welcome Revdex.com personnel to inspect my property to find the truth. We follow similar process to the Choice Hotels reservation process even though we are now an independent hotel. We take the guest's name, address, telephone number, and we repeat the room type, number of nights, date of arrival and departure, the rates and explain the cancellation policy for group or individual reservations. When THE GUEST agrees and acknowledge the reservation policy then we take the credit card information including the credit card verification number. Then, right away the confirmation number is given to the Guest. The cancellation policy is also posted on website www.bayfrontinnerie.com This is a one nights billing as per cancellation policy explained to the guest and acknowledged by guest. .We thrive to provide the best service to Guests .I am requesting guest to provide notarized statement that what he is telling is true and nothing but true.
