Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the representative for the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and firstly, I thank the representative for their timely response and attention in the matterSecondly, I find that if they wish to make a
resolution attempt in a non hostile way...that would be satisfactory to meAnd thirdly, it is my hope that whether or not this complaint is resolved for me, the company representation will look at its practices and provide a more reasonable option for those that seek to withdraw from attending their workshops and seminars that is for the greater good of all involved
Warmest Regards,
Maria S***

I took the time to thoroughly review Ms. [redacted]’s file, including all correspondence she had through email with the staff.    Attached is the enrollment agreement signed by Ms. [redacted] February 28, 2016, acknowledging that the course was refundable in full $7,995 within the three day...

cooling off period.  After the cooling off period passed, a nonrefundable $5,000 fee would be charged for cancellation prior to attendance at the live training.   Ms. [redacted] was notified of the pre-training webinar scheduled May 23, 2016.  The webinar was hosted by the lead trainer of the course and President of the company.  Ms. [redacted] contacted the office May 24, 2016 requesting a link to view the replay of the webinar which was provided to her.  The webinar hosted May 23, 2016 consisted of an overview of the coaching program, what to expect at the live training and what to expect for the next 12-18 months of the course.  The webinar addressed topics such as dedication level, time commitment and the student’s objective for attending the course.  We have a recording of this webinar, as well as the power point slides presented during this session.    After receiving access to the webinar, Ms. [redacted] did not express that she wanted to cancel her attendance and receive a partial refund.  Instead, she opted to attend the live training in Newport Beach, CA, August 10 – 14, 2016.    Ms. [redacted] states that the course was changed and more items were added.  The curriculum always consisted of monthly webinars and in program coaching clients.  Students were not certified upon completion of attendance of the live 5 day training.  The live training was one part of the curriculum.  This was discussed during the May webinar and during the live training held in August.   The course went through an upgrade in December 2016 and the name was changed from Empowerment Mastery Coaching to Integrative NLP Coaching.  Students were not charged an additional fee and two online training modules were offered complimentary.  The completion of the program was extended to two years.  All active students were notified of this change and an addendum was provided should students choose to accept the upgraded course and new certification title.  Attached is the addendum signed by Ms. [redacted] on December 22, 2016.   Ms. [redacted] states that she had difficulty connecting with staff to speak about her request to cancel the course and had attempted to cancel in December 2016.  The emails we have on file between Ms. [redacted] and the staff contain Ms. [redacted]’s questions about her coaching clients and how to handle specific situations throughout the coaching process, as well as her request for the 2017 webinar registration links.  Her intention to complete the course was confirmed twice by email in December 2016 and January 2017.  There was correspondence a few days before the Christmas holiday from Ms. [redacted] requesting a call.  The staff member confirmed a time after Christmas and Ms. [redacted] wrote to cancel the call on the day of.  A call was finally rescheduled for early January after the new year.  Ms. [redacted] followed up in writing expressing her intention to complete the course.   On January 20, the Director of the Integrative NLP Coaching program replied to an email from Ms. [redacted] regarding a challenge she was having with her In-Program Coaching Client.  The Director provided Ms. [redacted] with several windows when they could connect over the phone.  Ms. [redacted] sent a reply thanking the Director and shared she found a solution with the In- Program Coaching Client.  Ms. [redacted] could have taken that opportunity to express her dissatisfaction directly with the Director of the program, as well as share she was considering leaving the program.  Instead, Ms. [redacted] declined the opportunity to speak with the Director.   Written documentation from Ms. [redacted] requesting to cancel the course and receive a full refund for the tuition amount of $7,995 was sent to our staff member March 2, 2017.   On March 30, 2017, Ms. [redacted] was notified that her request for a full refund of $7,995 was denied.  Ms. [redacted] had attended the 5 day live training, received access to 10 of 14 webinars, as well as participated in the In Program Client coaching through March 2017.  Ms. [redacted] was reminded that she had two years to complete the course and it was requested that she contact the program Director to let us know how she wanted to proceed.  Ms. [redacted] never contacted the Director to discuss her enrollment.   May 1, 2017, our office received an email from Ms. [redacted] stating that she attempted to cancel in December 2016 and then threatened small claims court if [redacted] did not comply with her request for a partial refund.  However, all correspondence from Ms. [redacted] in the month of December 2016 and January 2017 confirm her acceptance of the course prerequisites, intention to complete the program and Ms. [redacted] continued to participate in the course.    A response was sent to Ms. [redacted], May 3 acknowledging that [redacted] received her email.  May 5, a follow up email was sent explaining that Ms. [redacted] successfully completed the live August 2016 training, received access to 10 of the 14 webinars and completed 95% of the In Program Coaching practicum.  A partial refund was issued immediately based upon the training hours completed.   This training retails at $7,995.  It is held once a year which makes it a very exclusive training and requires full commitment from the student if they want to be certified.  The student was provided an additional year to complete the requirements and that was not an option due to scheduling and availability per Ms. [redacted].    Additional monies will not be refunded to the student.

This business practices horrible financial practices and will not pay their contractors in a timely manor. The amount of money they without from a business they do not directly deal with is astronomical.
